This game made a nice setup for the coming battle against Southampton next saturday. Southampton with the best form in PL and with one of the best defences in the Premier League this season, with Soares - Van Dijk - Fonte - Bertrand in front of Forster in goal against a Chelsea team with renewed confindence of late. It will be a good bout to watch!
@libehv With all due respect to Mourinho, but I think he was the real problem. The relationship between him and the players had taken different proportions till a level where it was beyond repair. What the team really needed was anything but Mourinho, regardless of how harsh the decision was.
@Ludo well I don't think Mou had more into this case than sacking the dearest Eva Carneiro.
She shouldn't have had this much effect on the players performance, but it seems she was the magical "whistle"blower there!
@Milann The team Man City have put out is an insult to the great historical cup that the FA Cup is. Since the new owners arrived (I can't reference their business or nationality or my comment seems to get deleted), they haven't taken this competition seriously, and yet they take the Capital One Tin Pot seriously. It's all good and well buying the Premier League, but you get the feeling the local presence in the club, that would appreciate this competition, just isn't there. I know they make the excuse that they're in 4 competitions so they need to rotate. But they have they spent enormous sums of money on players and their fabled youth-development system, and still they put out that team in the FA Cup; where is the squad depth to fight on more than one front? As much as I dislike Chelsea, I hope they give Man City a good spanking today.
Chelsea will want to win this FA cup to put behind a miserable premier league campaign, City will probably rest key players ahead of a clash in Kiev so I'm going to go for a home win here 1-0.
Come on kids against men. Man.C no respect for F.A cup disgrace to ManC fans...........

Hazard's freekick goal looks like a clear GK error to me.
You know the opposition is crap when Hazard plays well. :-p
@SteveHyland for fuck sake, he played against 18 years old kids
I hope Hazard found his form again!!
Hazard should take penalties again. I think he is already confident enough to do this.
Oscar should be ashamed of that, takes the penalty away from Traore who won it and then takes it like that
@JoeB91- Oscar is a prat, but we've know that for years. Can't believe Chelsea turned down a £57.5m bid from Jiangsu in January.
HAZARD SCORED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@HoodPrank Again Man City B hahah.
Gus Hiddink has found something to motivate the squad and hopefully his contract will be extended rather than finding a new one

Diego Costa looks like Hannibal Lecter with his mask on.
@What4- Yep and like Mason Verger with it off.
Looking at the names ManCity looks like a midtable Liga team today

How did some people select Kurt Zouma as man of the match? There is no chance he is playing today. He is out for the rest of the season.
@klarenbeck18 It's called humor (not part of the people who voted this)
Im a city fan, But Chelsea will win this comfortably, 2:1
