Lyon
Bordeaux
- Nicolas N'Koulou and Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa looked suspect in the 4-2 defeat at Dijon last time around but, with Emanuel Mammana suspended, should have the opportunity to make up for their mistakes against Bordeaux.
- Nabil Fekir was unable to join the France national team as he underwent surgery to clean his knee during the international break, which will keep him sidelined for two more weeks.
- Anthony Lopes resumed training this week and will be available to start against Bordeaux, while top goalscorer Alexandre Lacazette will be assessed.
- With Mathieu Valbuena out with a groin injury, Bruno Génésio may call on youngsters Aldo Kalulu and Gaëtan Perrin should Rachid Ghezzal miss out again.
- Jérémy Toulalan's thigh injury is not as bad as initially feared, but it might still be too soon for the midfielder to feature against one of his former clubs.
- Nicolas Pallois will join the competition for a starting spot in central defence following his return from suspension, with Pablo, Grégory Sertic and summer signing Igor Lewczuk all ready to feature.
- Cédric Carrasso kept a clean sheet in the 1-0 home win to FC Nantes, which may see him keep his place in the XI ahead of Jérome Prior once more.
- With Diego Rolan and Malcom both involved in South America during the international break, Jorcelyn Gourvennec could be tempted to field Adam Ounas - if fit - and Gaëtan Laborde here.
PSG do a draw VS Saint etienne yestarday, Lyon know they need to take point now if they want race for the title. Genesion ( coach of the OL ) say in a first time " Lacazette gonna play 20 min " and 2 day later " lacazette gonna start the game " So 20 ou 60-70 min i don't know but he gonna play. The injury of Fekir, Valbuena and grenier is not a big problem, Lyon have plays lot of game last season without this player. The real problem is in defense M'biwa is good for play with your friend a sunday morning not for play in L1 and N'koulou don't start the game. So m'biwa and a young player in central is dangerous. Bordeaux can do a good game like VS ASSE (win 3-2 ) or a shitty game like VS TFC ( loose 4-1 ) he has good player but not with a good mental if Lyon score fast i'm not sure Bordeaux can come back, Bordeaux don't have a real style of game but they have good and fast player in attack. My prédiction : 2-0 maybe 2-1 for Lyon My english suck i know.
