PSG
- Patrice Garande has no new injuries to report and is still without injured trio Jeff Louis, Mouhamadou Dabo and Jonathan Delaplace ahead of the visit of Paris.
- The manager will need to decide whether to rest a few players against the reigning champions before the meetings with Angers and Bordeaux on the road this week, which should benefit the likes of Hervé Bazile, Alaeddine Yahia, Jordan Adéoti and Pape Sané in that period.
- Veteran Steed Malbranque could make a second consecutive start in midfield, although youngsters Jean-Victor Makengo and Jordan Leborgne might bring more pace in this area against PSG.
- PSG have five competitive matches ahead of them before the next international break and Unai Emery is likely to make some changes in the upcoming weeks, though the extent of those changes remains to be seen this weekend.
- Jesé Rodriguez and Lucas Moura are both expected to start having spent the Champions League opener on the bench, while Thiago Motta, Javier Pastore and Thomas Meunier could also return to the XI.
- Unai Emery decided to leave Hatem Ben Arfa in the stands in midweek and must now find a way to handle his new recruit, who will expect to feature here.
- Alphonse Aréola did not disappoint against Arsenal but may continue to sit on the bench in Ligue 1, while full-backs Serge Aurier and Layvin Kurzawa may not be risked here.
super hatrick and still doesn't get 10 wtf
@ik32 after that crap he showed in CL, I would never ever put him 10
@dzvinka We all agree Cavani didn't start the season well, but past games shouldt mean nothing when rating his future performances. Here Cavani, in just half a game, scored 4 + hit the woodwork once; and was a constant nightmare for Caen's defenders. Should be a full 10 and you know it
In-Form Cavani in the first week of TOTW on FIFA 17, awesome!
@Kendev the game comes out 21?
Lucas should be awarded the assisit on the 2nd goal. His backheel was clearly on purpose. A piece of beauty.
@Mike.PSG That backheel was a last ressourse attempt to score. Lucas (a favourite of mine), was escellent all game, and unlucky not to score at least another goal... but let's be sincere: that backheel was NOT an intentional assist. On the other hand, his intervention on the 4th goal was top class.
@Mike.PSG It wasn't on purpose, he tried to score for me
