Team News
Lyon
SC Bastia
- Bruno Génésio has alternated between a number of systems over the last few weeks and could benefit from Bastia's visit to strengthen his midfield this weekend.
- Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa and Nicolas N'Koulou have both started their side's last two competitive matches on the bench at best, but one of them should get the nod if Lyon revert to a three-man defence this weekend.
- Rafael, Christophe Jallet and Mathieu Valbuena will not be available for Génésio, who can still rely in most of the squad that collected one point in Turin in midweek.
- Bastia were handed a huge blow with the news that Sébastien Squillaci's season might have come to an end with a cruciate knee injury.
- With Ismaël Diallo, Alexander Djiku and Abdelhamid El Kaoutari already on the sidelines, the Corsicans have no recognised centre-back available ahead of Saturday's clash with Lyon. Left-back Florian Marange could deputise while the club look for a credible option on the market during the international break.
- The rest of the squad should be close to the one that failed to beat Dijon last time arond, with Jerson Cabral perhaps preferred to Gaël Danic here.
