Caen
Lille
- The potential absence of Ronny Rodelin saw Caen play a 5-3-2 formation last weekend against Dijon; the experiment was a failure and they should revert back to their usual 3-4-3.
- Herve Bazile, Yann Karamoh and Jonathan Delaplace should all start again after not being included from the off at Dijon.
- Yves Bissouma is suspended for two matches, but Ibrahim Amadou is a more than capable deputy. Julian Palmieri is also suspended and will be replaced by Franck Beria at left-back.
- New manager Franck Passi often played a 4-4-2 formation in his days at Marseille, but looks likely to continue with a 4-2-3-1 system given the personnel at his disposal.
- Marko Basa is unavailable with an ankle injury; Stoppila Sunzu had come on when Basa went off in the win over Lyon and could get the start here.
- Yassine Benzia could make a return playing off de Preville centrally.
*can't net
Pathetic game by Caen, up one man at home and net, let alone scrap a draw-- a team like that is a team that deserves to be relegated.
Sunzu plays in Russia since late January, so no, he's not likely to play for Lille tonight :-)
