Watford
- The 4-5-1 formation used against Leicester wielded no rewards last weekend as they slipped to a 3-0 defeat. They could revert to their normal 4-4-2 here with the reception of Watford, which would see either Dean Marney or Jeff Hendricks drop out of midfield and Sam Vokes return to the starting XI.
- Andre Gray begins his four-match suspension, with Patrick Bamford in line to start.
- Watford will be without Daryl Janmaat this weekend and he could be out for three weeks with a shoulder injury sustained in their 3-1 win over Manchester United last weekend. Nordin Amrabat is favourite to replace him. Other than that no changes are expected to the side that excelled against United.
Roberto Pereyra is a marquee signing for Watford and is already standing out. Going into this game, I think Watford has too much quality over this Burnley side that is also going to be missing Andre Gray. They seem to be destined for a relegation battle already. Watford should grab all 3 points here. Deeney to net one... 2-0.
