Thank you Mr. Peter chec you saved 3 points. i think you should be the MOM. koscielny did some fatal mistakes. Negredo was perfect as i see why he is underrated?.
Arsenal are very strong and entertaining this season.
I don`t think Özil will have more than 10 assists this season. Only 78% pass success, ZERO KEYPASSES !, zero dribbles and one shot off target today at a game at home. In 11 games he has managed one assist so far, still none in the league.
Will see how that continues ...
Oh and a special mention for Ben Gibson who was excellent, probably motm. He was organising players around him all game, didn't make any mistakes (that I saw) and was solid. At only 23, I hope a bigger team signs him (an Everton or somebody who's manager is good defensively) and he can take the next step. England aren't exactly awash with good defenders.
Boro came for a point, defended well and in numbers and got a point. Created some decent chances too. We seemed a bit slow, missed Cazorla as you'd expect but I'm glad he was rested. We wont be the only big team to drop points against Boro if they play like this. Hope Wenger enjoys a cheeky rouge and chalks this one down to a typical bus parking job which as we've seen in the past, even the very best can struggle to break down.
Well done 'borough. You expect a team that's defended for the whole match to lose concentration, but catching Ozil offside shows their commitment to the tactics.
@Valor- 3 domestic games, not specifically league- so luckily it includes a game which he wouldn't have played anyway (the league cup tie against Reading).
Yes agree - we should be rotating against Borough. We have a compact fixture list in the future. Man U, spurs, psg along with the league cup etcc
Would like to see Perez and chamberlain with starts after good performance on Wednesday. Iwobi too...
I also think 2-0 as Boro have a good defence with Chambers ;)
Hopefully Cazorla and Oezil are rested. Possibly even Walcott given his history of injuries. Elneny looked a little bit headless chicken when he came on against Ludogorets, I'm used to the illusion of it looking as though he is standing still yet receiving the ball a hundred times a game, so I think he needs some game time. Xhaka suspended so I think it's time for the double-brutal Coquelneny to be unleashed. I would like it to look something like Cech, Bellerin, Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal, Elneny, Coquelin, Chamberlain, Lucas, Iwobi, Alexis. With 'boro likely dropping off all game, looking to hit us on the counter and use set plays for scoring chances, it will in effect be a 4-4-2 (or variant: 4-2-4, 2-4-4 etc). It wont do us any harm to be able to play with multiple formations. I think we'll win regardless of the team we put out, there is a confidence flowing through the squad and many in form but Boro will look to be solid defensively so will go with a conservative 2-0.
@SteveHyland Well, I think with the EFL cup match against Reading coming up in the midweek, Wenger is likely going to still start the likes of Ozil and Cazorla for this game - probably the same starting XI as last weekend except for Coquelin replacing Xhaka. The likes of the Ox, Elneny, Lucas, Gibbs, Gabriel and even Jenkinson are almost certainly starting the EFL cup match in my opinion, so Ozil, Sanchez, Cazorla... will get rested then.
@Valor- Not sure Wenger will risk Cazorla tbh. Even if it was 'just' inflammation which caused his foot to be iced, that is a problem which only goes with rest and predictably gets worse with activity. We don't have a replacement for him and we really need him 100% fit for the Spurs/Utd/PSG run of games coming up next month. For the sake of Boro, I would hope we have enough without Santi. I don't think the XI will look like what I wrote but would like it to be. Oezil and Alexis will likely start. Best case scenario if they do is 3-0 at HT.
2-0 Arsenal. Bit wary of Adama Traore's awesome talent and I thought we were a bit lucky not to concede vs Ludogarets. Have to deny Boro any chances as through Traore and Negredo they could be a threat on the counter attack.
@Overmars Boro could have won that game. Traore has Hector Bellerin like pace could be even faster. What a talent and surprised he hasn't played more football in the premier league.
at current form is difficult to predict who's going to score from Arsenal! Ozil is scoring this season instead of assisting! Walcott and Sanchez are scoring every game! I'd like Ox to challenge Iwobi on the left flank! Not saying Iwobi has been bad but he's not a goal threat from that side as he is yet to score! That midfield of Arsenal is crucial. Especially Santi with either Coquelin or Xhaka partnering him! I believe currently nobody at Arsenal can do Santi's job in the middle! Ramsey tried but failed last season when Santi was injured! I'd love Jack Wilshire at some point return and challenge Santi in the middle as I believe he's the only natural player Arsenal have to challenge Cozorla for that position! Nevertheless this current form is something we've not seen lately at Arsenal! Is different from last season!
@albgunn- Bit worried about Cazorla having his ankle iced immediately after coming off yesterday. I think he'll be rested. We cannot lose his orchestration in the middle.
The first few minutes 'Boro may try to disrupt precision and earn yellow cards that'll weaken their willingness to go for the tackle beyond the hour mark. It's a Alexis kind of situation and IF he keeps calm after a few nicking of his heels; he'll score goal(s).
Snati could be rested for Elneny; that's my wish though. Again, M'boro's intense 1st half efforts to contain an avalanche of attacks will wear them down 2nd half. That's where Ozil, Walcott + Alexis will win it for #AFC.
I will say am very happy with the way my boys are performing. Walcot on form,Sanchez cant stop scoring, surprising goals there from Ozil too.I see a comfortable win from Arsenal, winning this one 3-1.I expect Iwobi back in the starting 11.

Happy birthday to Wenger! Now sign da ting!

Valdes is still the man
I'm worried, these are the games that we sometimes drop points, we need to continue our run of good form, COYG!!!
Elneny handed a rare start. Excitting!!!
Ozil to score, 2-0
I hope wenger rests Cazorla even if he passes the fitness test. Wenger hasn't found the right midfield partnership to match Coqzorla yet.
I have a feeling Arsenal are going to slip on this one. 1-1 draw from me, I hope I'm wrong.
How many matches is Xhaka suspended for? Has it been confirmed?
@Valor- 3 domestic games, not specifically league- so luckily it includes a game which he wouldn't have played anyway (the league cup tie against Reading).
@Valor for a normal red card, players are suspended for 3 matches

@lwpgooner I think the rules say that a player can't play against the team that he is loaned from, correct me if I'm wrong!

Put this way, no team fancies to meet Arsenal at this form!

@SteveHyland Elneny/Coquelin in the middle then? We should have enough to see Boro out I guess!
@albgunn- Yeah that's the way I would go. Cazorla himself has said he is fit but I don't see why Wenger will risk him in this game.
