Guardiola had a game plan to be fair. We would all have been saying something different now if Aguero and KDB were a bit clinical with their chances. Howbeit, Chelsea showed character to soak up pressure and keep their heads for 1st one hour of the game. Well done Conte. Well done Costa. KTBFFH
Fabregas is one of the least likeable players next to Pepe. This guy instigates every damn fight and provokes others like a child. I really wish some player would clock him in the jaw.
@SargentBoston Fabregas didn't do anything to make ferdy flip.....ferdy was just cross and annoyed with the game in hand...Fabregas is good and didn't retaliate to what ferdy did to him.. ferdy gets the ban so that's his problem
I'm back!!! Hahahahahaha Fraudiola at it again. The man is a true fraud. Imagine if this Man City squad doesn't win the Premier League! Look at the team Fraudiola has! Conte once again proving he is a master in tactics. Fraudiola should start asking Conte for advice because the Fraud is out of his depth. If Conte wins the league he will be yet another Italian coach to win the league with a team that couldn't finish in the top 9 the season before. Also, is anyone still going to say I'm an idiot for saying Conte is one of the best coaches in the Premier League? Where are BeautifulLoser and neumi17 and nceshNcero? "Always ready to reiterate my statements. Conte is a cheat and this is just a winning streak that will end." - BeautifulLoser "The most pathetic comment I have read in a while. You are Italian, so you know nothing about quality football" - neumi17, well an Italian is dominating the league right now my friend. Lmao I almost forgot that Man City was at home!!! Conte >>> Fraudiola
@tar88s I'm not talking about "dominance", I'm talking tactics. Conte knew what they needed to do to beat Man City. He knew Fraudiola was going to push all of his players up in attack which left them extremely vulnerable at the back. Fraudiola also chooses the clown Bravo every week and it has cost him many points. The Fraud should have started Yaya instead of Gundogan to add more power/strength in the midfield. They needed someone to tackle in the midfield besides just Fernandinho as everyone else was pushing up. Also, the Fraud should have know Stones is not ready to start every game for this team. Conte exposed Fraudiola, plain and simple. Also, you say it was "luck"! Conte has been doing this for years i don't think it's always luck if it keeps working hahahaha
@Calcio_Guy Obviously it is very easy to point at someone`s mistakes after the match. City were the better side in the 1st half, should have gone at least 2-0 in the second. I know it is their problem they didn`t score, but how can you praise Conte tactics telling he exposed someone, when that match was not good at all for them before the 1st scored goal? PS. I agree that Bravo is $hite and Stones should rest more, but that was Otamendi and Kolarov that failed in the 1st and 3rd goal, City lacks a good defender
According to Mancester Evening News : "Aguero faces a four-match suspension - ruling him out until the New Year’s Eve clash with Liverpool - while Fernandinho will be banned for at least three games following a violent altercation with Cesc Fabregas."
No one can say city played crap......they had more shoots on target and a hit on a wood work......the only player who really under performed was bravo was a stupid idea to get rid of hart
But I think there is more to come from peps city may be not a top Europe team yet but give him one year and city will be the best team in Europe....with Gabriel J coming and a chance of messi I think city will soon start to make some damage
Don't think any of you can fairly have a go at Pep. The reason Man City lost was the players, not the tactics. Pep can't be blamed. De Bruyne in particular has been woeful today. Man City missed several golden chances at 1-0 to add to the lead. And Chelsea punished them for it.
WhoScored's prediction of 1-3 did come true lol.
As a Chelsea fan, I can say CFC was kinda lucky to win it like that. MCFC could have killed the game with 2-0/3-0.
let's not forget that score could be other way round, good game, except final episode with aguero. i can understand rage against referee's decisions, but it shouldn't be reflected on opponent player
Chelsea have the deadliest counterattacks in the world. City played really well but they were really unlucky to convert their chances. Great game. Really enjoyed it.
De Bruyne open goal miss ruined everything for City, then Aguero hesitancy to finish later on, just the story of City's season so far, simply awful in front of goal for a team with so many great players. Diego Costa is fantastic though, been the best striker in the world so far this season.
@excalibur then u clearly dont play football... this level it doesnt matter which foot is that from that not too tight angle. its a 7 meter wide goal, easy to score from there all day long.
This is what Premier League has needed for some time now. I'm to a fan of over hyping managers but meeting of these managers would be interesting no matter which teams they managed. Pep's City is very flexible and reacts very strongly to different oppositions. They are likely to take a control here or at least keep the most of the possession, I don't think Chelsea's midfield can or even try to keep the ball against them. It's very much down to how both teams can defend and particularly how they build up game with their three man defense. I wouldn't be surprised to see some individual errors from both sides. Quite many are behind Chelsea but I tip City for this match. Nevertheless, this should be great game. 2-1.
Pep Guardiola confirmed that Ilkay Gundogan and John Stones were rested for this game game with Burnley a week ago , and Fabian Delph is fit again after a long absence with a groin problem.
Please ignore the above comment... Pep Guardiola confirmed that Ilkay Gundogan and John Stones were rested for the game with Burnley a week ago but there are no concerns over their fitness, and Fabian Delph is fit again after a long absence with a groin problem. City should win with 2-1
Manchester City will score 3 goals. Final score 3-1. I wonder why you guys are soo into Chelsea. 6 consecutive wins doesn't mean it will go to 7 consecutive wins. I think you guys don't understand football. How can you even count Chelsea to win or even draw against Manchester City? Hahaha. I think this is the joke of the Century. I am talking of City scoring 3 goals not 2. And I still don't understand how you saying Chelsea have a chance against City. And by the way it's Etihad. Was it Stamford bridge we would be talking of 2-2/1-1 but this is Etihad. You have no f@&king chance. 3-1.
Very good idea. Man City are awful in defence and Guardiola is overrated. Conte formed better team and tactics. Both to score and away win unless 2-2 fix
Wow I thought I was the only one that hates Guardiola. Looks like I am not :)
But despite my hate for the man I wont be delusional and say that Pep is a great manager but City have many problems and their form is nowhere near the form that Chelsea are on. City will put up a fight and knowing Pep's attacking style they will probably score but Chelsea are unstoppable at the moment so I will go with 2-1 to Chelsea
Thinking out loud, a switch to 3-5-1-1 for this game perhaps, with Fabregas coming into midfield to help neutralise City's dominance in the centre of the park? Kante and Matic could play either side of him and aid the wing-backs when out of possession while Hazard having a free role just behind Costa could make marking a nightmare for whoever gets the DM role. Wouldn't put it past Conte, he is definitely the best "horses-for-courses" manager in the league, maybe the world. Reminds me of Sir Alex in that regard.
Chelsea will probably be dominated by City like they were in the first 30 minutes by Spurs- but for the whole game. During that period against Tottenham, Chelsea looked terrible but a wonder goal from Pedro changed the dynamic. They wont be able to afford to start that slowly again because Pep teams tend not to have a possession lull against any other than the best teams 'with the ball'. Chelsea's 2-men midfield doesn't lend itself to playing keep-ball for periods of the game but they should be able to counter City's fragile defence. I'll sit on the fence and predict a draw, 2-2.
@messinho Pep is fraud he will get exposed by top teams like spurs have done and chelsea will do the same. The win against us was because of our mistakes not that city were amazing.
Hello everyone. Please does anyone know of any other site(s) that rates teams and individual players like whoscored does? I need such sites. Kindly help if you know of any. Thanks.

@SargentBoston hahahaha sorry son
N'probs dude
@SargentBoston Fabregas didn't do anything to make ferdy flip.....ferdy was just cross and annoyed with the game in hand...Fabregas is good and didn't retaliate to what ferdy did to him.. ferdy gets the ban so that's his problem
@Chelsea4Ever You didn't see him slap Fernandinho?
@BCup17 he had a right to slap th dweeb!! U wud in his case s zip it
I'm back!!! Hahahahahaha Fraudiola at it again. The man is a true fraud. Imagine if this Man City squad doesn't win the Premier League! Look at the team Fraudiola has! @Calcio_Guy Chelsea was lucky to win it,ridiculous to say about any dominance so far. Insulting someone after the loss is the easiest thing to do
@tar88s I'm not talking about "dominance", I'm talking tactics. Conte knew what they needed to do to beat Man City. Well done Conte for going to the Emptihad and getting your team to score 4, that's quite an achievement!
Seems like man u are better that city atm....lmao
@manutd66 hahaha... lol very true:D
No one can say city played crap......they had more shoots on target and a hit on a wood work......the only player who really under performed was bravo was a stupid idea to get rid of hart But I think there is more to come from peps city may be not a top Europe team yet but give him one year and city will be the best team in Europe....with Gabriel J coming and a chance of messi I think city will soon start to make some damage
not that easy to win without help from the ref or playing a non competitive league, wake up guardiola you went to the wrong league
You predicted it
If I were a City fan I'd crucify Aguero upside down in front of the main entrance of the Etihad.
@BeautifulLoser Imbecile.
@BeautifulLoser no you wouldnt kid
@donnyy I sure would. I hate this overrated moron.
It's another win for Chelsea and a good one to!!!! This is the real Chelsea now!!
Otamendi 7.3? xDDD Jesus Christ do something with those ratings
@Zootball Ikr, and Stones... 6.1 should be 4.0
Kolarov's positioning and lack of awareness on the 2nd and 3rd goals was embarrassingly bad to let Willian and Hazard get through one on one.
Don't think any of you can fairly have a go at Pep. The reason Man City lost was the players, not the tactics. Pep can't be blamed. De Bruyne in particular has been woeful today. Man City missed several golden chances at 1-0 to add to the lead. And Chelsea punished them for it.
Costa incred
WhoScored's prediction of 1-3 did come true lol. As a Chelsea fan, I can say CFC was kinda lucky to win it like that. MCFC could have killed the game with 2-0/3-0.
Also, impressive by Whoscored with that super accurate prediction :)
Pff, Ratüero 5 matches minimum...
Wooopwoop!!....gooo th blues Key win in title race!!
let's not forget that score could be other way round, good game, except final episode with aguero. i can understand rage against referee's decisions, but it shouldn't be reflected on opponent player
chelsea was awsome !!!!! love conte .. love his team
Hazard and Costa by far the best attacking players on the pitch in the 90. Aguero who? De Bruyne who?
Disgusting from aguero and Fernandinho. Man City are dead and gone from the title challenge now
@Mega Aguero is a f**** joke. A disgusting excuse of a man. All the respect I had for him just went out of the window.
@excalibur exactly and somehow it's only Costa who gets talked about in that light
shame city! shame!
MC SOOOOO BAD
Bravo 0 saves, 3 goals conceded lmao what a signing
MC so bad
Pep headlessly attacks, now pays for it
wow..chelsea with the win.
Oh, cool! Bravo did make a save, eventually. In the 94th minute.
Chelsea have the deadliest counterattacks in the world. City played really well but they were really unlucky to convert their chances. Great game. Really enjoyed it.
@CirdomAkul Today I have seen something similar to the Anelka, Malouda, Drogba, Kalou's counterattaking football era.
useless coach, useless defence in Manchester City. Conte master of counters not boring passing game:)
Good game of Sane
De Bruyne open goal miss ruined everything for City, then Aguero hesitancy to finish later on, just the story of City's season so far, simply awful in front of goal for a team with so many great players. Diego Costa is fantastic though, been the best striker in the world so far this season.
@bradley.fcb Hazard also had an open goal miss
@7dana Shooting from a tight angle with your weaker foot is hardly an open goal miss. Open your eyes.
@excalibur then u clearly dont play football... this level it doesnt matter which foot is that from that not too tight angle. its a 7 meter wide goal, easy to score from there all day long.
Diego Costa , what a player. He has been reborn under Conte
Another penalty to City not given lol
how did they let Willian score.
@remyo123 Willian was simly on nitro boost.
aaaggghhh
What is the elvish word for "overrated moron"?
De Bruyne crossbar... the goal was empty lol. If MC don't win this, then... really.
@Exti He still a Blue :D
Cahill really fluffed it!!
yes its the first goal for city
This seems like a massive snoozefest. Hope El Clasico will involve two teams trying to win, not two teams not trying to lose
@Exti Turns out 'El Clasico' was the snoozefest.
@Exti shut up kid
David Luiz is playing well
Chelsea cmon

@Castle poor prediction hehh
Willian should start and finish the scoring chances. His waste-goal ratio is better than Pedro's.
Pep Guardiola confirmed that Ilkay Gundogan and John Stones were rested for this game game with Burnley a week ago , and Fabian Delph is fit again after a long absence with a groin problem.

2-1 to man city
@remyo123. WRONG!!
@jalen shut up you dont evn know
gogogo costa go
Manchester City will score 3 goals. Final score 3-1. I wonder why you guys are soo into Chelsea. 6 consecutive wins doesn't mean it will go to 7 consecutive wins. @njamimaranga hahahahahahhaa moron it was 3-1 but the other way :D
@njamimaranga yeah totaly agree with u
@njamimaranga You're really selling Chelsea short.
I'm so excited for this match! This is why I watch football. These tactical showdowns is what it's all about.
Both scores first half time 1-1, then it ends 1-2 Chelsea wins. X-2
Very good idea. Man City are awful in defence and Guardiola is overrated. Conte formed better team and tactics. Both to score and away win unless 2-2 fix

Am going for an away win here... regardless of the score. It could be a narrow win.
a red card also likely with alot of time wastages
am going for 0-0
are they playing at the ethiad!!!???!!!

chelsea narrow win either 2-1 or 1-0
chelsea win
Doesn't say where they are playing
Draw Man city have been playing pretty well recently
Will be a good saturday and what an opening game. After watching Chelsea destroyed City, we will witnessing the Uefalona massacre by Real Madrid
@ProudUefaLona- Going out on a limb here, do you dislike all things Barcelona?
Stones and Sagna to be bent over and spanked Saturday. Chelsea 1-2. Hazard MOTM
hahahahahaha I would be happy if Chelsea win 3-1 as predicted by whoscored.
1-1
1-3??????
@messinho Pep is fraud he will get exposed by top teams like spurs have done and chelsea will do the same. The win against us was because of our mistakes not that city were amazing.
@messinho hmm true, maybe its too optimistic to think City is going to score anyway...
Manchester City 1-2 Chelsea
1-1 draw
Hello everyone. Please does anyone know of any other site(s) that rates teams and individual players like whoscored does? I need such sites. Kindly help if you know of any. Thanks.
@TSN I heard there was another good one which includes all the stats for players and teams but forgot the name.
@TSN premierleague. Com Squawka news....
@TSN for which league?
@SaifHasan top 5 leagues
away team 3-0
1-3 for away team, aguero >< Costa, Pedro, Costa
2-3, Aguero, KdB - Costa 2x, Hazard
0-1
I won't mind a 1-1 or 2-2 draw here. It will be a great tactical battle between the best managers in the league.
2-2, Hazard MOTM
hopefully Aguero having a hat-trick, 3-0.
@dts89 Not against the best side in the league sir.I believe those would be skychester pundits wishes
