Anyone want to argue that Fraudiola is the best coach in the league? HAHA I was right of course. An Italian is dominating the league at the moment. (Just like last year) Imagine Fraudiola not winning the league with that squad and that much money. Now imagine them not finishing in the top 4!!! If Manchester City don't finish top 4 then Pep should be fired and sent to the rice farms of China. The Fraud has me laughing each week hahahaha
Sergio Aguero is too static for Pep to have his Barcelona way.No wonder he left him out a couple of times. He will be the first one to leave this summer.
@abhi8- If Pele was in this team, they'd still be poor because the defence is the biggest issue and Guardiola is to defending what Allardyce is to attacking. In this country, title winners tend to be built from the back not from the front. Also there are better teams purely in terms of attacking (Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Bournemouth :-p)
@SteveHyland I disagree. Look at Liverpool whose defence is equally poor. Pep wants his midfield to dominate the game so they dont need to defend. Besides if you look at their attack only Aguero is scoring that too because he stands behind the last man. False 9 of Messi or Muller is missing in their attack Their forward line is as much to blame as their defence.
Another 4-0 win seems like the norm this weekend with tottenham first then arsenal doing now everton imagine getting all those 3 matches correct score as 4-0 unbelievable. but no one would have predicted everton smashing man city 4-0 with the strike power man city has and they couldn't get 1 goal even back to the drawing board and wallet for man city.
guardiola should of gone to a non competitive league like in france and take over psg to keep his legacy. in the epl the ref dont help like in spain and germany is a one team league. even that, he took over a treble winning team and could not match it, most he won was the league and cup
@koziol.mutant 18 trophies in 7 years, two times Champions League winner, multiple domestic league trophies - there's the new definition of "overrated" for you.
@hindy Lol Bayern Munich would win the Bundesliga with the team Pep had if it was coached by a dog. His Bundesliga success means absolutely nothing. Also at Barca he had the best players in the world and even some of the best of all time. Lets think what Fraudiola would do with Watford or Malaga. He would get those teams relegated with his current tactics.
@hindy with 18 trophies in 7 years, two times Champions league winner, multiple domestic league trophies he look like learning this is not top managing he was helped by Messi, Xavi and Iniesta
Bravo is probably the worst goalkeeper in the Premier League and Stones the most overrated defender...
But the problem comes from the midfield, not solid enough
@Ouftey Not so long ago de Gea had very similar stats.
Bravo obviously has troubles adjusting to new league, but it is still to less time to make such big statements.
@koziol.mutant We know that it can be effective. It may be boring (I don't find it boring) , but he's proven that it can do magic. Same as Chelsea when they won Uefa CL by parking the bus - I respect it. My concern is that the evolution of football is progressing beyond the efficacy of tika taka and Pep gets left behind. Nonetheless, this guy is too smart and focussed not to adapt.
@Ouftey The problem comes from the defense, not the midfield. Even though the midfield as it's flaws, it is imperfect as everything good that has been created this season has come from the midfield (De Bruyne in particular). The defence the component that looks so rugged, being so fragile and exposed frequently. City are barely capable of keeping a clean sheet. I love Pep, but this teams looks exactly like Pellegrini's last season - and I'm really starting to question why the hell he even signed Stones, with him being so susceptible and lackluster last season (w/causing 3 errors that lead to a goal). Otamendi is really solid, all though not being the most consistent centre-half, he has been the most convincing. Sagna is decent too but Zabaleta, Clichy & Kolarov are just horrendous in defense. The title is gone for City, and it would be delusional to even think they still are contenders. From the midfield and onwards it's looking magnificent but the defense needs to be replaced.
@ZuberiMamba very well said mate. I would also mention that Otamendi would be much more consistent had he played alongside the central defender like Kompany. It is a real shame the guy`s body "refuses" to play and I doubt he would ever be on the same level as before, wishing him all the best though
@Aereze It is funny, cause if you check de Gea's stats from 1-3 month ago he had similar stats, having save rate around 30*40% (based on whoscored stats)
@WILA7 Yup, the defense is bad (Fraudiola has no idea what he's doing defensively) and also Bravo has been a nightmare. Lets not forgot Bravo was Fraudiola's choice on which goalkeeper to bring in. Fraudiola needs to learn from real coaches like the genius Conte and Pochettino.
?! Prediction states: "City have only won two of their last six matches away to Everton but should put that record straight this weekend." before proposing a 2-1 win to Everton.?!?
With idris guaye who is good at giving defensive contribution gone everton are likely to concede a goal but they are also good at coming back from losing positions and drawing at home against big teams like they did tottenham,mancity and man u so I will say if man city score everton comeback with a goal and then man city score another as they need to put pressure for title race so most likely a city win but a draw is in there with a chance Nuff said
Schneiderlin is in! He would improve Man City's midfield. I'm eager to see how he does. I wonder why WS think Zabaletta will play as a CM, other than second guessing a manager who loves taking the piss with his weird and wonderful formations, and then pouting when journalists ask question about it.
@What4- He's a good player. Not sure why Mourinho didn't try him in the Carrick role. Probably find Morgan insulted Jose's stubble. Dared to suggest he looked like a tramp rather than the rugged Hollywood star he believes he is. We know Pep will play the 2-5-1-2 formation- Otamendi the one behind the strikers (Fernandinho and Sagna) with Aguero in goal. Genius that Pep, genius.
Everton will have a tough day as a rejuvenated City side will be hoping to build on what they started earlier in the season and their most recent thrashing of Slaven Bilic's boys in the cup.City cant afford to drop many points anymore as the race for top 4 finish is the utmost priority because Man United's could overtake them should they continue with their complacency.Everton offers a good opportunity to Guardiola to prove his worth.Hope after the game Koeman will be singing City's name as the hardest side Everton have faced this season.
Everton 1-3Manchester City!

@Calcio_Guy In hindsight.......................................................
A good team can't have a bad defend. Pep has to upgrade the defend and buy a true killer. Or MC will have nothing this season.
Bravo is the big hole in manchester
Sergio Aguero is too static for Pep to have his Barcelona way.No wonder he left him out a couple of times. He will be the first one to leave this summer.

This site gave NO "key passes" to brave young Davies despite the fantastic thru ball to Mirallas for the 1 touch to Lukaku's goal.
@mattenglish a key pass is the last pass before a shot on goal is taken.
Guardiola is way overrated, simple as that
@koziol.mutant 18 trophies in 7 years, two times Champions League winner, multiple domestic league trophies - there's the new definition of "overrated" for you.

@aymane.spur Yeah with Barcelona which was a team built by Gullit and Bayern built by Heynckes...not to mention the budget he had and still has...
@moo13 You mean Frank Rijkaard?
Finding out that mid-table teams don't bend over and take it around here
Pep is LVG in disguise
Bravo has conceded from 13 of the last 21 shots on target he faced in the Premier League. Hart > Bravo
@Ouftey problem comes from Guardiola, he plays boring titi taka and City needs 9999 passes to create any chance
@koziol.mutant We know that it can be effective. It may be boring (I don't find it boring) , but he's proven that it can do magic. Wow. Can't wait to hear what His Pepness has to say!
@What4 More than you believe he is happy! lol
3rd goal is technically Lukakus, just skimmed off his stud before it cross the line.
@Nico1 Shame on him for trying to claim Davies's goal. Anyway, it didn't look like he touched it.
@Nico1 he didn't touch the ball
Guardiola:started from the top(Barcelona )now I'm here(Manchester City)
It's f*cking awesome to see as a Manchester United fan. 2 shots 2 goals, claudio BRAVO!
@Byakuya Not that long ago de Gea was in quite similar form, with similar save percentage (i'm talking about 13 goals from 21 shots on target)
@Byakuya Can't believe I had a debate with a City mate who thought Bravo was better than De Gea. Not saying much now.
@Aereze It is funny, cause if you check de Gea's stats from 1-3 month ago he had similar stats, having save rate around 30*40% (based on whoscored stats)
@Byakuya now it's 3 shots 3 goals
@ik32 4 shots 4 goals
@Byakuya bravo indeed!
wait zabaleta on the middlefield wtf?
Surely, Bravo was very poor lately. How can he conceded when he only face 1 shot? He doesn't have goalkeeper skill anymore..
@WILA7 And the defence is absolutely innocent, right?
@hindy Of course not. The defence have contribution too. But, the goalkeeper must be the last wall to protect the goal.
@WILA7 Yup, the defense is bad (Fraudiola has no idea what he's doing defensively) and also Bravo has been a nightmare. Lets not forgot Bravo was Fraudiola's choice on which goalkeeper to bring in. Fraudiola needs to learn from real coaches like the genius Conte and Pochettino.
over 2,5
?! Prediction states: "City have only won two of their last six matches away to Everton but should put that record straight this weekend." before proposing a 2-1 win to Everton.?!?
@MEHJones Until yesterday the prediction was "1-2", but they've changed it, not sure why.
With idris guaye who is good at giving defensive contribution gone everton are likely to concede a goal but they are also good at coming back from losing positions and drawing at home against big teams like they did tottenham,mancity and man u so I will say if man city score everton comeback with a goal and then man city score another as they need to put pressure for title race so most likely a city win but a draw is in there with a chance Nuff said
Both teams to score Nuff said.
man city .

i will go for 1-1
@buthethi no draw
