Team News
Middlesbrough
Everton
- Calum Chambers made a miraculous recovery to start against Tottenham last time out and the Arsenal loanee will continue at the back for the reception of Everton on Saturday.
- George Friend and Gaston Ramirez joined the team in their mid-season training camp on the Costa Blanca this week but only Ramirez is in contention to play.
- Middlesbrough manager Aitor Karanka may revert to a 4-5-1 formation that gave the side greater success earlier in the season as Boro edge closer to the relegation zone.
- Idrissa Gueye was only fit enough to make the bench in Everton's 6-3 win over Bournemouth last time out and the Senegal international will be looking to return to first team action when Ronald Koeman's side travel to Middlesbrough on Saturday.
- Koeman reverted back to a four-man defence at the weekend but it remains to be seen how he will line up here given the gulf of central midfielders he has at his disposal now.
- Ademola Lookman could retain his place in the team if Koeman opts to stick with much of the team that secured their third win in four.
Traore is a really funny player. AGAIN he had the most dribbles but was unable to produce anything productive like in the 21 games before ! Still zero goals, zero assists, almost no key passes or shots .... His 100 succesfull dribbles have been absolutely useless.
@neumi17 and again..you must hate this guy a lot..
2-1 for Everton (two goals for Lukaku)
under 2.5 goals, possible scores 1:1OR 0:1
1-0 Everton. Lukaku the difference

If boro's defence wall doesn't crack I don't see much interm of goals here karanka should take a risk and try a more approaching attacking approach adding more fire power upfront boro's wall seem to stand strong even on the road at whitehart lane . I predict everton to win narrowly here with a 0 - 1
Middlesborough 0-0 Everton Middlesboro will kill the game and play on the break. Karanka (as a Mou ex) will play Mourinho style ultra defensive tactics.
@Overmars i concur
1-3 Ross & Rom. COYB
Everton's defence was terribly shaky v. Bournemouth before Barry's substitution. Reverting to three at the back restored them defensive stability and Koeman will probably start three centre-backs here.
