Arsenal
- Eddie Howe is again unable to call on Marc Pugh and Lewis Cook through injury.
- Jack Wilshere is unable to play his parent club, which could see Josh King come into the side in the number 10 role.
- Callum Wilson and Adam Smith are both pushing for recalls and may feature in place of Benik Afobe and Ryan Fraser.
- Mohamed Elneny is unavailable due to his participation in the Africa Cup of Nations and is expected to be replaced by Francis Coquelin.
- Mesut Ozil, Kieran Gibbs and Theo Walcott are all doubts for Arsenal, while Chuba Akpom and Danny Welbeck are still short of match fitness.
- Santi Cazorla, Mathieu Debuchy, Yaya Sanogo and Per Mertesacker are all ruled out for the Gunners.
- Arsene Wenger could bring Shkodran Mustafi and Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain into the starting XI, while Aaron Ramsey is pushing to start.
B.Mouth 4 - 3 Liverpool. I don't know why all the La Liga and Chelsea fans below are getting carried away. Anyone who knows anything about the PL knows B.Mouth are a very good team. B.Mouth are 9th, and unlike the Spanish or German Leagues, this actually means they are a very good side that can beat any team on their day. They were brilliant up to the 70th minute, absolutely flawless. Yes the red card was harsh, but it happens to every team. Man U the other day benefitted from a much more absurd incorrect red card, and yet another offside goal, to help them beat a woeful West Ham. The red on its own still doesn't explain how Bournemouth lost a 3-goal lead in 25 minutes, even with 10 men, defending a lead like that shouldn't be such hard work. Actually, it just shows how well Arsenal came back after that. If Man U or Liverpool had launched a comeback like that, all the "experts" and pundits would be purring about their "great character", the "resilience of champions", blah blah blah
@What4- Francis had both feet off the air and lunged in. Out of control tackles of that ilk are automatic red cards and should be.
@What4 very good post. Eddie Howe is one of the top managers in The League. Imagine what he could do at Man Shitty or Manure.
Arguably should've been 3-1 considering the fact that Arsenal barely created any real opportunities until the BS red card. Francis had his feet on the ground and it was neither excessive force or endangering to an opponent. Maybe a yellow but certainly not a red. PL refs have been reminding me of the FIFA franchise recently.
@sarigginsUSA- Er no, Francis was off the air lunging with both feet. On what planet is an out of control tackle like that not a red card? Again, just like the foul on Bellerin leading up to Bournemouth's 3rd goal, most pundits, journalists and opposition fans independently agree with my synopsis and disagree with yours. I don't disagree the refs are bad but Oliver got 1 decision wrong last night and that was the foul on Bellerin. Google is your friend.
Bournmouth deserved a win. Things went very well until the early 60's minutes substitution of King. Then Disaster for Bournemouth.
@enxit- Not really. Their 3rd goal came as a result of a foul on Bellerin exactly as 'bad' as the foul Xhaka made which Bournemouth were awarded a penalty for. Then the sending off of Francis was justified given he was out of control and had both feet off the ground, so it should've been 2-2 after 82 minutes with Arsenal a man up. We were starting to make all the running XI v XI. They deserved to be 2-0 but they didn't deserve to win looking objectively at the game over the full 98 minutes.
@SteveHyland Xhaka pushed over the player with his arm, Fraser simply shouldered him. Completely fair. Accept that Arsenal played like shit if you're going to call every other team out for poor performances. Mature a bit.
@sarigginsUSA- You seriously must be blind if you didn't see how Bellerin was pushed. Have a look for a photo still of the incident. The commentators said it was probably a foul, the journalists have since said the same thing and you are in the minority of opposition fans I've spoke to who don't see both as equal decisions. I would say both were soft. I also never said Arsenal played well.
@enxit fraser's injury was also a reason for not winning, arsenal couldn't create a single opportunity while he was on the pitch, he led many quick counter attacks that arsenal just couldnt' handle
Arsenal.. Arsenal never changes
i said its draw :))))
@hatefio72 Not just you...
What's it with Cech and near post shots? He should have saved the first goal he conceded
The way Giroud celebrated that 3rd goal vs mighty Bournemouth, you'll have though Arsenal had won the league
@Excalibur- It was annoying to watch as well because there were 4 minutes and 50 seconds left on the clock and I had hoped we'd go all out for the win given a point away to Bournemouth should be seen as 2 points dropped for a title contender.
@SteveHyland Title contender my ass. Arsenal haven't been a title contender for a decade. It's always the same thing every season, they get hyped up as a genuine contender, maybe flirted with the top spot for a while, and then dropped out of the title race as soon as it looked like they had a chance. Here's a fun fact, 2007-2008 (4 pts) and 2013-2014 (7 pts) were the only time Arsenal had less than 10 points difference with the champion in the last decade. The one time they finished runner up (last season) it was actually Spurs who challenged Leicester until it was mathematically impossible to win, after which they lost their morale and lost the runner up place to Arsenal (and even then just by a teeny 1 point). Arsenal is a title pretender, never a genuine contender.
@vieri- Wow, terrible comprehension of English. Good stuff. I actually said- "...a point away to Bournemouth should be seen as 2 points dropped for a title contender". That means if the players are going for the title, they should see a point away to Bournemouth as 2 points dropped rather than a point gained since these are games that title contenders tend to win. Incidentally, previous seasons don't determine the current one, case in point Leicester. The seasons immediately before and after their title winning one have been terrible so, by your logic, they would never compete for the title, let alone win it. But wait, they did. The season doesn't finish in January and in our worst game of the season with most of our first XI playing, we still drew.
@SteveHyland Leicester are a one season wonder, that kinda stuff tends to happen once in a while. Look at where they are now. I think it says quite a lot when a one-season wonder has a bigger chance to happen than Arsenal winning the title anytime soon. While past records mean nothing in the current predicament, I still wonder how can anyone be shameless enough to call themselves a title contender when they've consistently been left in the dust by the previous champions. At this point Arsenal calling themselves a title contender is almost as delusional and as shameless as Everton or Southampton claiming the same thing.
Iwobi should have never started this game. Perez is way better now
so close to 3-4..... :(
Never a red, feet on the ground and touched the ball. Refs in the prem are so bad.
Giroud is the oficially the most gorgeous human being to ever exist. Sit down Jesus
@SmoothJitsu253 You are on the wrong site dude it`s not who scored who ...
@neumi17 Chill guy.
@neumi17 At least this time Pogba wasn't awarded MotM :-P
Monsieur Giroud switch on Beast Mode!
@BeautifulLoser *switched*, obviously.
Bringing in Perez has clearly changed the game for arsenal
@KlaasJanHuntelaar He deserves more minutes.
Bournemouth can still sell it 3-4 no worries
4-3 coming
3-0? omg.... being Arsenal fan is sooo frustrating (I am not, fortunately).
vintage arsenal
Bournemouth is like Robin Hood this season.
@AndreyNosatii Actually, that would be Liverpool.
@AndreyNosatii Are they giving their points away?
@SmoothJitsu253 taking points from rich(top 6) and giving them to the poor (bottom 14)
@fervour21 They're keeping the points, they're not giving the points to Swansea or Suderland
First Liverpool and now Arsenal. Wow thank you Bournemouth !!!
Classic
Iwobi out perez in arsenal will win 2-4 ft..

@hindy this is true *rotfl*

@hatefio72 "Yes, We Can!" ;D
@hatefio72 yes they can, arsenal seem very able to lose to not-so-good teams!!

@koziol.mutant 7-5 actually
Iwobi 1st to be substituted at ht I hope
Nonsense team => Ar se NAL
Wenger's post game comments, "Chelsea have been given an unfair advantage and we lost due to scheduling!"
@Cornflake I fully agree, how is this fair on the other title challengers
@lrp1991 Chelsea played 3 games in 6 days just a week and half ago. Get over it.
@Excalibur- Yeah but without the 6 extra games played that Arsenal, City and Spurs have had at this stage. As it stands at this moment in time, we've played 26 top-level games and Chelsea 19 (20 tomorrow). For adults playing a sport this fast and furious, you really need 72 hours recovery between games so just 51-52 hours is a bit of a joke. 20 hours is a significant difference for the muscles. I always think you should have 3 nights sleep minimum between games and that is a fair spacing. That's not to say the scheduling is why we drew here, or rather not the only reason, but it needs to be addressed for the good of all EPL teams. Less teams in the EPL, a winter break and having the teams in Europe enter the F.A cup in the 4th round would benefit us immensely in Europe.
@excalibur ok fair point
Oh how I love seeing arsenal be arsenal
@Agreen LOL
Going straight to ArsenalTV after the game :P
Good God
Bournemouth playing really well
@KlaasJanHuntelaar Good pressing!
BECNH: Ospina, Gabriel, Holding, Niles, Chamberlain, Adelaide, Perez.
@SteveHyland- * Bench I meant. Tosser.
OFFICIAL: Cech, Bellerin, Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal, Coquelin, Xhaka, Ramsey, Iwobi, Alexis, Giroud.
0-2 or 1-2 with some luck to the home team. They play very good at home but not that good to beat Arsenal...
first half 0:1 second half 0:2 0:3
Özil will be invisiable again tonight. Either because he is still sick or because he won 't have much influence of the game. I think he is not the right player for Arsenal because he can't create space. If he finds that space he is brilliant ' cause nobody passes like him. But he is not the player who takes the ball, generates space by taking on two people and than makes a great play. That is what Arsenal needs but that can't be provided by Özil. He only is good when there is space and opportunities already but he is not the architect of those. If he doesn't find openings to pass the ball through he is just gonna play little give and take passes in unimport areas. And that is just not enough for a playmaker...
@neumi17 Oh come on. Stop this mindless Özil-bashing, please! There are very few players in the world with his ability to find space he can exploit. Obviously he is not an architect or a strategist like Kroos because he is not a central midfielder. And I would guess that his many assists and key passes are not exactly what one would call (quote) "little give and take passes in unimportant areas" (unquote).
@BeautifulLoser What many assists this season? That is my point, if there is open space he will pass the ball exactly to the right man at the right time. But if there isn`t space he is basically useless because he can`t create it like othe OM...
Draw
Squad depth will show as a limitation to Arsenal. Arsenal doesn't have the squad depth to withstand 3 games in a week. Pressure and tiredness will kick in here. Constant first 11 will cost Arsenal today. I'm expecting high goals and a favour for Bournemouth. A scoreline of 3-2, 4-3. Especially by the fact Bournemouth has the guts to score in dire moments in that game 4-3 against Liverpool. Over many goals.
Arsenal lose 3-1
@buthethi Looking good so far
arsenal can win this match and need to win
Total goals over 2,5 at the last 3 Bournemouth matches in PL. Both teams scored at the last 5 Arsenal away matches. Arsenal won last 7/5 matches in PL. Bournemouth lost and condided 3 goals last home game. I guess 1-3
HT X
Oh and for the 2 people who have voted for Wilshere to be MotM...... he's ineligible as per the rules of loan agreements.
The guaranteed starters will almost certainly be rested against Preston in the F.A cup (with the exception of Mustafi who needs game time) so I don't think there will be too many changes here, although I hope there will be. I think the XI will look something akin to the one who started against Palace with the exception of Elneny (who will join up with Egypt) and possibly Perez. Ramsey and Chamberlain coming in for those 2. Oezil and Walcott will miss this game in all probability, illness and injury respectively. If we get through this game unscathed then there will be 11 days' rest before the league game against Swansea so we should be in good shape once this congested period is over with. I think we will win but by a solitary goal. 1-0.
bts and Arsenal win
over 1.5 goals
1-2
i think BTS, Bornemouth plays well at home.
