Typical Mourinho, parking the bus in big games because he's too much of a coward to go for the win. It's disgusting to me that any team could willingly park the bus after investing so many hundreds of millions into the team. 3 Shots all game total, Only 30% possession, it's just pitiful how cowardly they are. If United supporters had any standards, they'd demand attacking football, like Ferguson believed in. Just goes to show that money and overrated, overpaid players attract plastic fans.
ManU had only 30% possession. That's the lowest rate since they started to keep track of data in 2003...
It was a definite headbutt from Fellaini, so obviously a red, and Aguero reacted the way any other player would have. Get over it you bitter Man U supporters.
@What4 you better get a new id "what 7" soon as your title dream (being 4th) seems to be over
@What4 Do you Arsenal fans have any brain cells at all? Why would any Manchester United fans be bitter about a red card for Fellaini ? Especially when they played 15 minutes after it with 10 men and Manchester City managed to create just one chance. You Arsenal fans can't judge anything objectively, so your opinion on anything is literally irrelevant.
Enjoyed the rock solid defensive performance from Kompany as if he didn`t had all that horrific injuries. That what City lacked all the season. From the other side - Bailly was great too.
19-3 shots for ManCity, only one shot on target for ManU.... Wow !
Jesus is a beast! Wait for it
its funny how with so much money this teams still give you half decent performances, city keeps the ball but manages close to nothing vs top teams and united plays to not get scored. no wonder the CL are getting dominated by bayern, dortmund, juve, and 3 from spain. heck even the EL is a now show for EPL teams.
@edemex Dortmund isn't dominating anything
@richccfc who are you comparing them too? what EPL team has done better last couple seasons.
@edemex- You didn't say that though. You said the CL was being dominated by Bayern, Dortmund, Juve and 3 from Spain when neither German team have reached the final since playing each other at Wembley. Bayern are always a team you'd put among the favourites considering their quality but Dortmund were being dumped out of the Europa League this time last season. Hardly CL domination. Incidentally, it's pretty simple to see why the same teams are dominating the CL- a greater share of the best players in the league plus no competition in their domestic league from number 7 down. Pep himself wouldn't have expected the premier league to be this difficult.
Ok. It's a draw like a predicted. But I will say that no Ibrahimovic or Pogba was a blessing in disguise for Man United. Man utd did park the bus, but they had beautiful defensive structure in midfield even with 10 men. Fosu Mensah defended brilliantly from the front as a defensive forward when manchester united went down to 10 men and played 441, something you rarely see done so well by a player. Manchester united got what they came for at the end of the day and it highlights that teams like Liverpool and Man City miss a target man badly against teams that park the bus.
@Yes The reason I saw this is they offered some counter attack threat parking the bus with pace at the top. And better defensive structure in midfield, work rate, positioning nous and discipline without Pogba. Manchester United did a good job parking the bus. It's obviously not pretty if you love attacking football, but as a football purist I enjoyed the contrast in the way the two sides played and can respect the fact that manchester United got the draw they set up to get. With 10 men Fosu Mensah showed how difficult a side is to break down when they use a defensive forward. It should be noted that If Manchester United played 442 like Atletico Madrid do vs Barcelona then they would have possibly had the same defensive security, but would have offered more on the break.
@Yes Or the system like Juve vs Barca at cam nou before they brought on Barzagli
Manchester United needs to get these 3 points to finish in the top 4.
@ZcodeSportSystem.com we don't
Half time now and I don't understand 7.0 for Martial, 6.7 Mkhitaryan, 6.4 Herrera... I rather think : 6.1 Martial, 6.2 Mkhitaryan, 6.9 Herrera, 7.0 Agüero, 6.0 Rashford. Rashford has only fast running. Nothing else ! Martial is too personal. This is not football, Gentlemen !
@Rony It's based on stats and the over valuing of dribbles. Martial had 6 dribbles
AC Milan would run both of these teams
@groveccio No.
@groveccio It's 2017 not 2007
@ik32 lmao, gold
utd to win 1-0 from counter attack
Bravo makes Mignolet look like Neuer... my god he's horrible.
Man City 1 Man Utd 3
Why is Bravo starting?
@MessiGOAT YOU MAD BRO?
@Yes Hahahahahahaha
man city 1 manutd 2
1-2
if Mou isn't a moron and starts Mkhitaryan Utd will win 2-1. If he doesn't 1-1
@FCBayarmenia Then Miki will score only one goal ?
@Rony I didn't take into account that Mou would come into this game looking for a draw. He gave Mkhi Marcus and Martial 0 support
2-1 or 1-1, either way, both teams to score is almost certain. With Kompany back in the picture, Rashford won't have as much joy against the man city defense as last year. Wide positions will be the key, Sterling vs Darmian and Sane vs Valencia will be interesting, my opinion is that Sane should face Darmian and Sterling should face Valencia since Sane hasn't proven his form and will need to face the lesser of the two United fullbacks.
@sarigginsUSA Well, I expected United to at least try, but no, cowardice is key for Mourinho.
united win @ 1 - 2 mourinho will definetly like to keep all routes to CL open for next season
@shakes hope
I think City will get away with a win here. 2-1 to city.
3:1 City
its very difficult to play a team that have nothing to loose ..city out from champions legue, out of the race for the premier legue title, out from FA cup, thier only hope this season is to qualify for the champions legue the next season and they will fight for this ,believe me they will play every next game of this season as if its a final of world cup...and my point will be proven tonight by what u will witness in the match against United
@delpiero1100 man u has nothing to lose either.. they have confidence from being in the semis of Europa. man city s confidence is down bc they just lost and got out of the fa cup... they are worn out bc of this too.
@devin1302 man u stil playing in europa ligue bro...how they have nothin to loose ?!?!??!?! if they lost this match there is the europa legua by winning it they can qualify to champions legue so plz stop argue me
if there is a word impossible thats for city today impossible to looose 100% will not loose and iam very sure of iam talking about ( numeral average rule )
@delpiero1100 +1 for tht group
Its funny how that if you don't make in europe or you fail there, your clubs value decreases significantly
draw for sure
Pep Guardiola is overrated
@MessiGOAT Seriously?
draw here from the draw kings
I ghave nossing soo see! I ghave nossing soo see! Nossing!
Bayern>Man Utd
I think if anything United will come here for a draw. Jose Maurinho should start Rooney and Herrera in midfield. It is a season defining match for both teams. If they draw then Arsenal will most likely benefit from the result as they can still catch 4th spot. I think it will be 2:1 City. Good luck
X2
2-0
Manchester will win.
@pyt55 In before a draw.
2-1
This game has lost its touch since both teams are not in europe and have failed significantly there. Nobody cares about europa
@NuchalLine Nobody cares about Europa League except the team that wins it and gets an automatic spot in UCL [facepalm]
@NuchalLine It hasn't lost it's touch. It's for a place in the top 4, it's a big game
@NuchalLine Well, no one cares about Europa apart from the teams left in it.
2-2
ibra , pogba, mata will not play and whoscored.com predict city will draw!!!! thats so weird...in my opinion city will dominate the match and win 2:1
@delpiero1100 Pogba will not be missed . His defensive contribution is not good enough for an opponent like Manchester City. Pogba strolls about, never puts a shift in. Never gets a move on to get back to defence. Ibrahimovic's absence isn't relevant at all. Remind me of the score between Manchester United and league leaders Chelsea when Ibrahimovic was out? If Man City are likely to boss possession then Ibrahimovic would be useless, he doesn't have the pace to offer any counter attack threat. Martial or Rashford at striker will be far more effective than Ibrahimovic. Or are you such a fan boy if solely Ibrahimovic that it's slipped your mind Man u beat Chelsea 2-0 without Ibrahimovic and Mata..and Pogba was largely anonymous in that game and had zero influence on the 2-0? Manchester United are unbeaten in 7 in all comps since Mata last played. The only thing weird here is your comment.
@Yes united won against chelsea in Old traford...thier away games isnt good as thier home matches brooo so try to analyze well dude ..and i will remember u after the match that i was right)))
@delpiero1100 Away game in the same city is completely different to travelling far.
@Yes Finally you are just about the only person who's seeing the game from my perspective....I don't understand how people will feel ibrahimovic's absence is such a huge blow, personally, I see him as a demerit to the team. Mou might just be holding on to his likes for the name and not what he delivers. He's not even close to Martial's level or even Rashford at all. Pogbas defensive contribution too has just been awful....making Ander H cover up for most of his silly mistakes loosing posession cheaply and even his pace is worrying during counter attacks. I still feel a Rooney would even perform better given his chance in that role but for Mou's hardened mindset. I really wish to see a Rashford, Martial, Mhiktaryan, Lingard combine upfront. Even Lingard contributes better both defensively and in the attack better than Pogba.
@hardebiyi I really wish to see a Rashford, Martial, Mhiktaryan,??? and how well did it go? ibrahimovic's absence is is a huge blow,
@Yes Pogba will be missed from a United fan. I'd be happy with De Gea, Valencia, Bailly, Blind. Shaw, Carrick, Herrera, Lingard. Mkhitaryan, Martial, Rashford though
@SethTrollins I don't think so personally.
@Yes You were right, lol. We missed him but the tactics were to defend
United to win or draw in my opinion. City will be tired and with lack of morale after the semifinal against Arsenal, Mou is an excellent coach and knows best how to get the most of this.
It is UNITED time
Disgusting injuries for United, hard to see them win although I wish I'm wrong.
Match show
0-1 UNITED!
Probably a draw. Mou knows how to defend. Pep is out of ideas. 0-0
However expect Yaya to Marshall that midfield.
@mistawess comma between 'however' and 'expect'; no capitalisation of 'marshall'
@WSGrammarCorrection Go away nerd.
@mistawess a midfield of Pogba, Herrera and Fellaini. Is that what Marshall means? Haha.
@njamimaranga Pogba is gabbage. Fellaini can't do anything with his feet. Herrera will be following KDB.
Man City 0-3 Manchester United.. There's no doubt again here. Of all last 19 games at Etihad only 1 has ended in a draw which was 0-0. The rest 18 has seen City win 9 and united win 9. City are average at home 8 wins 6 draws and 1 loss. Of the 7 are average to weak teams with only registering 1 win against a nearly quality Arsenal.. Josh Wright can't say they're VERY STRONG at home. That's overstatement. Mighty Mighty Manchester United to field 3CB as City will play the long balls. United to revenge thier earlier 1-2 home loss. Every team that beaut Utd has been handed 2-0 by Utd. Only city remaining. United has the 3rd best rating in all of Top 5 leagues after Madrid (7.12) Barcelona (7.12) and Utd at 3rd (7.06). Has the most points in away fixtures per game in EPL. City are out of form and thier FA exits just adds misery to them. 120 mins they're fatigued. United player has been rotated and they're rested. A win here sees United go to 3rd/4th. Picking 0-3/1-3 UTD win.
Come on, sometimes your prediction is terrible, I think this time the results are draw (1-1, 2-2) or United will win (0-1,1-2), Ander Herrera will be THE MAN, He is MoTM vs Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea,
If utd score first we will win.
Whoscored please stick to your initial prediction of 2-1 in favour of Man City
Looking at the form of both sides and Manchester United being unbeaten in 23 games in the league away from home this is another strange prediction from Whoscored in my opinion. When a side is unbeaten in so many games, including being the league leaders, I have to predict at least a draw for that side. I see Manchester United's away from that is 5 wins in the last 6 away games in the Premier League. I look at Manchester City's last six home games and they had played only two top half sides in that run (Spurs and Liverpool) and drawn with both. Yes Manchester City won the fixture between the two sides 2-1 earlier in the season, but that was during Manchester City's big, and only, purple patch this season. As a result I am going to predict a draw, with a Manchester United win being more likely (all three results possible, like an match. but probability wise I see a draw most likely followed by a Manchester United win by a 1 goal margin)
@Yes beaten in 23 games in the league... **even though this is** away from home* ^^made a mistake typing that, or it skipped out what I typed.
@Yes Hmmm whoscored changed their prediction from 2-1 to 1-1. Haha. I agree, a draw is most likely Whoscored out of the three possible results.
Manchester City 4-1 Manchester United
Reds versus blues hahahahaha
@tristankleyn what kind of weed u smoke dude !!!
@tristankleyn What's funny?
2 - 1
draw
@SamuelOkellogum correct!
