Has anybody ever heard Mourinho give a compliment to an opposition team/player/manager that wasn't back-handed? Even Fergie did, so the view that bad losers make good winners isn't always the case.
Fantastic performance today. Man U only put up a fight for the first 20 minutes or so.Terrific stuff. Oxlade-Chamberlain is a ray of sunshine this season. Danny, give us a kiss! Danny, Danny, give us a kiss! The boy loves to stick it to the Mancs.
@What4- Ramsey's heat map is exactly what we want to see from him, and is how he plays when at his best. I was most pleased with him today. Granted, he fudged a few final balls up but if he can get back to the dynamic goal-scoring box-to-box player we still believe he can be, then he gives us another option in midfield.
@SteveHyland Ramsey was my MOTM, best game for him this season. He always turns up vs Man U just hope he plays like this vs Southampton and Stoke away.
How many times must I tell you guys Rooney is Rooobish! Hartlepool's Devante Rodney is better! If you see him in the squad bet on United to lose! Was good odds too!
No Pogba, no party. Now I understand where the problem is. Without Pogba, the entire team is just not good enough and their winning percentage is so low. Conclusion: Pogba has been carrying the team alone. That's why he always become MotM.
@neumi17- Ha, yep. It's good to finally see Mourinho lose after setting his team up purely to draw. Mkhitaryan and Mata dropping back in defence was embarrassing. I'd understand if you needed to get a draw against a Bayern or Real Madrid but they are above us in the league.
I hope United win here but that would only be possible if they score before arsenal because United won't have too many attacking options as the boss is planning to rest tired players like Rashford who's been the team's most reliable forward since Zalatan picked up the injury. I expect arsenal to play with intensity and pace in the first 20 minutes of the game. Mourinho will park the bus anyways. 0-1
Are you sure Arsenal are reasonably likely to go with a back 3 of Mustafi, Koscienlny, Paulista?
They have been recently playing a back 3 of Gabriel, Koscienlny, Monreal.
hey guys listen to me very carefully...no way united will win today its impossible its about mentality and about fitness ......put all ur money arsenal double chance
@delpiero1100 This muppet said Aresenal double chance, guys trust me put your money on Man u now.
This guy is always wrong, but not just wrong miiiiiles wrong.
Despite a long list of injuries, United did well recently. Mourinho is a very clever manger, he's seen enough of games like this and is able to take all three but Arsenal have better attacking options. if gunners score first, a win for Manu would be a dream
Jose seems to be set for making wholesale changes , as a Utd fan , I would have loved to see a strong team facing the gunners but with so many injuries, I have to agree with the manager here to prioritise the Europa league . Still hoping for a good match
@koziol.mutant I wouldn't fancy those teams in EPL. different circumstances, different teams. United's second leg can't be that unpredictable but the final will. Ajax and United play two different styles of football and if you think united have an upper hand there, you would be absolutely mistaken mate
@MessiGOAT I won't say it's irrelevant for them , they are only one point behind city but the problem is they have way too many injuries and they have to prioritise Europa league as a result because that's a more straightforward way to make the CL
Bailly will start. United may accidentally win this, but I think they'll be set up for a draw. Arsenal don't seem to be playing for their manager anymore, I know it sounds a cliche. Probable draw, otherwise a United 1-0 win
Please bring back the thumbs down button, some idiots deserve to get it. WS shouldn't become one of those wishy-washy websites where everyone needs to feel good about thumbs up. People need to stop caring so much about a bunch of random people on the internet giving them a thumbs down.
@MessiGOAT But there's a middle ground which was overlooked. All you needed are community managers, and imo there's enough people here who both have the right spirit and would willingly manage.
This is a very difficult contest to predict. It is equally difficult to predict how both managers will decide to set their teams up. Will Mourinho rest players here for the Europa League semi? Or will he push hard for 4th? Mourinho should put a full strength team out here in my opinion. Will Mourinho's pride get in the way here? Manchester United'a streak without losing is under threat because they desperately need to win here. A draw isn't enough and Mourinho should set his side up in a far more aggressive manner to Manchester City away. I think Arsenal as the home side will exploit this and may well win here (ending Manchester United'a epic no loss streak in the process). Arsenal to win by one goal.
Arsenal 0 - 1 Man United. As much as I hate United and Mourinho (& hate Mourinho more), I think United will win this on the break. Arsenal are a shambles right now, tactically disorganized and unmotivated. Only other result I can see is a 0-0 but I reckon a deflected Rashford or Pogba shot (maybe Mkhi for added irony) will decide this. United can defend far better than Arsenal even though they are missing many defenders.
United are really not turned up to this pointless game. A game that doesn't guarantee champions league football only brings fatigue and injury. Mourinho just bring the U23 and let them kick Wengers Ass. And by the way this game means nothing to Utd. A draw is just good but if City slip against City before this game, bring the strongest starting 11 and let us go for that Spot 4 all hands. City game will be the decider of this game until them not interested.
@6seconds- There was a very famous incident where Mourinho eye-gouged Tito Vilanova during a Madrid v Barca game and an equally famous one involving the then Chelsea physio Eva Carneiro. An all-round likeable bloke, our Jose.
@SteveHyland And he bullies Luke Shaw and Wenger and others. He never takes the blame for anything either. Any true football fan should want Wenger to win here. You should read into what he said in the past about Europa league and what he says now. He's a hypocrite.
@Yes That's why he won that much unlike wenger who is a pu**y, Even shaw has said himself as he wasn't working that hard and mou was right about him. That's the difference between top managers and managers like wenger.
@WazzaFC- If Shaw wants to stay at Utd, obviously he is going to agree with Mourinho! Do you think people publicly slag off their boss if they want to stay in a job, any job? Naïve thinking if you believe so. Incidentally, Mourinho has had great success, I agree, but Wenger revolutionised a league and a country's domestic game which Jose has never done nor could ever do. There is a minimal chance the prem would be as attractive as it is today without Wenger's changes to Arsenal which other clubs were forced to follow. From tactics to developing individual skills to diet to general professionalism, even the best in the league (Utd) were miles behind and were playing a brand of football those on the continent saw as archaic. Pretty much like this Utd team.
@6seconds- Yeah really scummy move, especially given the benches emptied because of a bad tackle by one of Mourinho's own players! (Marcelo). Just one of many things which endeared him to rival fans. Ha
I'm glad I sent Arsenal fans home happy, says Mourinho
Has anybody ever heard Mourinho give a compliment to an opposition team/player/manager that wasn't back-handed? Even Fergie did, so the view that bad losers make good winners isn't always the case.

mourinho needs to go
How many times must I tell you guys Rooney is Rooobish! Hartlepool's Devante Rodney is better! If you see him in the squad bet on United to lose! Was good odds too!
@Red_Card Rofl, best comment. 10 upvotes.
@Red_Card complains to the referees too much! so annoying!
No Pogba, no party. Now I understand where the problem is. Without Pogba, the entire team is just not good enough and their winning percentage is so low. Conclusion: Pogba has been carrying the team alone. That's why he always become MotM.
Where is your 105 milion
i told u guys its all about mentality hahhahaa...no way united can win
@delpiero1100 you are the reason we need dislikes.
Pogba MotM!
Wenger to stay for another season...?
@MAN0 Depends also on the FA cup I think. If they win that, he will definitely stay.
Smalling is gash
.Mkhitaryan was totally invisable, good thing he has to leave. Rashford is the oneto worry about ...
@neumi17 No one were good
Looks like Mou is going down against his arch enemy. Steve will be happy ...
@SteveHyland I keep on thinking how much more Mkhi would have played if he had signed for Arsenal. Wenger loves collecting number 10s.
what a header by welbeck
its gonna stay 0-0 or will be 1-1.
@7dana or mybe not :D
MU isn't playing 4-3-3. It's rather 5-4-1 !
Mourinho should be really banned from sport, always boring tactics.
@Mahdi no need to hope this is a BANKER for Utd
@TheDarkWhite Don't be so sure about it
@Mahdi I'm 110% sure about it, no way Utd drop points here.
@TheDarkWhite Well, this is football. nothing's for sure FT 2-0
I wonder what SteveHyIand said...
can anyone give me reason why should united will today????
Arsenal 2-1 Man United
Utd are winning this 100% Arsenal havnt got a chance
Are you sure Arsenal are reasonably likely to go with a back 3 of Mustafi, Koscienlny, Paulista? They have been recently playing a back 3 of Gabriel, Koscienlny, Monreal.
Arsenal need this win here.
hey guys listen to me very carefully...no way united will win today its impossible its about mentality and about fitness ......put all ur money arsenal double chance

@delpiero1100 you are so boring
@WilliePete u too look so stupid to me amigio ))))))))))))))) go and have a life better than wasting ur time posting here stupid comments
@delpiero1100 Says the absolute nutter who gets eff all right 99.9% of the time
0 1 or 0 2
man utd are not used to losing. Draw or United win.
2-1 Arsenal. Carrick will be run by Arsenal midfield and Mata, Martial, Rooney can score against hosts.
Despite a long list of injuries, United did well recently. Mourinho is a very clever manger, he's seen enough of games like this and is able to take all three but Arsenal have better attacking options. if gunners score first, a win for Manu would be a dream
0-1 UNITED!
no way that we our conceding
Even if jose puts our u21 side he will get a result against arsenal.
@WazzaFC actually Man UTd have very good u21 players:)
I bet for a 0:0
Jose seems to be set for making wholesale changes , as a Utd fan , I would have loved to see a strong team facing the gunners but with so many injuries, I have to agree with the manager here to prioritise the Europa league . Still hoping for a good match
@footballover A final looks guaranteed for United so it would be best to keep an eye on the league too
Arsenal 2-1 Man United ..save Arsene Wenger. ^_^
Mourinho needs to rest everyone for Eurpoa league because the premier league is irrelevant to them now
@MessiGOAT As mourinho said, united have two open doors so why should they leave the league? UEFA competitions are quite unpredictable.
@Mahdi what is unpredictable facing useless Celta and overachieving AJax? both would have problems not to be relegated from EPL :)
@koziol.mutant I wouldn't fancy those teams in EPL. different circumstances, different teams. United's second leg can't be that unpredictable but the final will. Ajax and United play two different styles of football and if you think united have an upper hand there, you would be absolutely mistaken mate

@SlippinJimmy set up for a draw we only do that against teams with a threat
@_WL_ 14 draws...

@What4 @What4 have a thumbs up
A lot of people just dislike every comment which gets annoying and unnecessary so that's why it was removed.
@MessiGOAT But there's a middle ground which was overlooked. All you needed are community managers, and imo there's enough people here who both have the right spirit and would willingly manage.

@ldeas 1 goal out from a perfect prediction. Not bad
I hope Wenger beats Mourinho.
@Overmars Why would Micky scoring be ironic?
@What4 Because he almost signed for Arsenal but because of his infamous agent, and Man United offered more money he signed for Man U.
United are really not turned up to this pointless game. A game that doesn't guarantee champions league football only brings fatigue and injury. mou gets a chance to kick wenger when he is down.. sweet music to his ears. LOL
Here comes the eye-gouging misogynist, brace yourselves people.
@What4 Dislike button was their for goonies like you, Specialist in failure will never get a win against jose in PL.
@What4 ?

@Yes Sounds like my brother tbh
@SteveHyland Cheers mate --- I knew of the Eva incident, but not the EYE-GOUGING... Damn.
@6seconds- Yeah really scummy move, especially given the benches emptied because of a bad tackle by one of Mourinho's own players! (Marcelo). Just one of many things which endeared him to rival fans. Ha
Predicting both sides to wear red and confusion to follow.
