Team News
Man City
Crystal Palace
- Sergio Aguero will miss this weekend's action after suffering a leg injury that could rule the striker out for the remainder of Manchester City's season. Gabriel Jesus will lead the line in his absence against Crystal Palace and this may also see Pep Guardiola revert back to a back four.
- David Silva completed a full training session in the week but has been ruled out of Saturday's match with Palace, as has John Stones. The duo join Ilkay Gündogan and Claudio Bravo on the sidelines.
- Yaya Touré didn't feature in any capacity in their surprise 2-2 draw against Middlesbrough last weekend and may be recalled into the team at the expense of youngster Aleix García.
- Yohan Cabaye missed Crystal Palace's surprise 2-0 defeat at home to Burnley on Saturday with a knock but may return on Saturday for the trip to Manchester City. He is the only player Sam Allardyce can expect to recover from Palace injury list this weekend.
crystal palace are not the same team without sakho if he was playing they probably still might have lost but by 2 goals the most
Puncheon with a rating of 3.7 lol, never seen lower than that
The highest ranking for Man City this season I guess. 4 errors lead to goal - I think whoscored is too strict here. So nice to see happy Kompany, and that was a real cracker from him. Caballero showed the difference again, Bravo would definitely concede a header for 1-1 in the 1st half. Hope Palace stays in EPL, they have a very decent team
liverpool wil loose 2morrow
well played mancity
How many shots on post has KDB this season? Think this is his 11th? Damn, so unlucky...
@Spyro that one with Chelsea at home was something
@Spyro Aaaand he got one, nice, so deserved.
what a goal
Only 1-0? Could be easily 3-1 by now...
4:1
5-1 Gabriel Man of the Match
@DiegodeBarros86 No, not really. Wasn't his game...
Big Sam and his team would do anything to grab a point here. their last two wins came against Liverpool and Arsenal
City can lock a spot for champions league football if they win here.
3-1/3-2
gabriel jesus to score
Man City 2 - 3 Crystal
@yervand.beglaryan Keep praying for City's demise :)
This all depends on who Pep decides to play in his back four
This game I await with great interest. This is the sort of game Crystal Palace are capable of causing a big upset in. I think Zaha can be a big danger on the counter attack to Man City. If they don't score an early goal and a hungry Zaha turns up then who knows. Benteke can cause a big problem to teams like this. Crystal Palace are a Jekyll and Hyde team. Zaha is a Jekyll and Hyde player. Man City can either win this at a canter or be blitzed on the counter attack. This game can be an interesting tactical battle if Wilfried Zaha turns up in the right mood. If Zaha turns up in the wrong mood then Man City win at a canter. Time will tell.
@ldeas Zaha could do something here but benteke? I don't think he's that good against teams like city.
if pep doesn't workout a good defence strategy see us sharing a point with crystal palace likey city win@ 2 - 1
Man City 3 - 1 Palace
