Team News
Villarreal
Las Palmas
- Cedric Bakambu is expected to start for consecutive league games, after scoring against Celta Vigo last time out.
- No other big surprises are expected from Fran Escriba, whose side have been in great form of late.
- Denis Cheryshev is still carrying a minor injury, which should see Roberto Soriano and Samu Castillejo continue to impress out wide.
- Marko Livaja is missing due to an accumulation of yellow cards, meaning that Sergio Araujo should lead the line.
- Aythami should be preferred to Pedro Bigas at centre-back, with Mauricio Lemos' poor recent form meaning that he is not in the selection equation.
- Roque Mesa will feature at the base of midfield as usual, after signing a new contract this week.
Top of the table is so tight now !!
Insane assist and insane goal
As a huge fan for Villarreal. I think this is good on the both teams to score. The EUROPA League is much of a concentration. But with Bakambu back. I'm confident of a home win but Las Palmas still a threat.
@njamimaranga To be fair there's a good chance only Bruno & Castillejo will be in the starting line up from Thursday night, so being in the Europa League shouldn't play to much of a part here. You might be right with Btts though.
