Valencia
Athletic Club
- Carlos Soler and Ezequiel Garay return from suspension and should slot straight back into central midfield at centre-back respectively.
- Injuries to Rodrigo and Santi Mina should make for a start up top for Simone Zaza, who is likely to be preferred to Munir.
- Fabian Orellana should be deployed again on the right after his winter move from Celta Vigo, with Nani on the opposite flank.
- Mikel Balenziaga limped off with a muscle problem against APOEL during the week, which should see Inigo Lekue deployed at left-back.
- Benat and Mikel San Jose should anchor the midfield, though Ander Iturraspe will be pushing to feature too.
- Markel Susaeta could rotate in for Iker Muniain out on the left-hand side, while Inaki Williams and Aritz Aduriz target a continuation of their good recent form.
Valencia 2-0
