- A dreadful start to the season prompted a bit of a tactical rejig from Aalesund last time out, with coach Trond Fredriksen moving Bjørn Helge Riise down to right back and switching to 4-4-2. The change yielded immediate improvements, as the team picked up a very handy point away to Strømsgodset. There should be little reason for Fredriksen not to continue in a similar vein here.
- One question mark is who starts at right wing, with the choice seemingly between Sondre Fet and Edwin Gyasi. The former undoubtedly provides more graft, yet the latter is the more gifted player.
- Lillestrøm are creating chances but struggling to convert them. This might prompt an attacking re-think from coach Arne Erlandsen. The ponderous and goal-shy target man Tomas Malec would seem a hot favorite to be rotated to the bench, yet at the same time the big Slovak's aerial ability is important to LSK's direct style of play.
- Midfielder Bonke Innocent has missed the start of the season with injury, but is starting to eye a return to action. It is however unlikely that he'll make it in time for this one.
