Fulham
Tottenham
- Ryan Fredericks is suspended for the home side and so misses a meeting with his former employers.
- Slavisa Jokanovic has no further injury issues, however.
- Danny Rose is sidelined for the away side, while Erik Lamela is still recovering from a hip problem.
- Harry Kane sustained a knee problem in the 1-0 defeat to Gent on Thursday night and is unlikely to be risked here.
- Vincent Janssen, Kieran Trippier and Heung-min Son are among those that could start, while Jan Vertonghen will feature in some capacity.
SPURS STARTING XI: Vorm; Trippier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies; Wanyama, Winks, Eriksen, Son, Dele; Kane SPURS SUBS: Lopez, Carter-Vickers, Wimmer, Dembele, Onomah, Sissoko, Janssen
I wander who is going to score for tottenham?
@enxit yeah they can't score from open play against solid defence what a shame
0 - 2
100% tottenham winner
Last time we played Fulham in the FA Cup encounter (4th round in 2011) they won 4-0 at home. I would love Spurs to make up for that with a 3-0 win and Vincent Janssen hat trick. However, Pouch has apparently said that Janssen is even lacking confidence in training!? It will probably be left to Son to fill in for the injured Kane. Tottenham have the edge in pedigree, long shots, and aerial duels (etc.) but I suspect (regardless of whether Janssen plays or not) Fulham will be more up for this one and will enjoy being at home. I hope I'm wrong but I find myself agreeing with WhoScored? and think Spurs will struggle. 2-1 to Fulham.
@MEHJones Well, the 3-0 part and the hattrick part were spot on!
@sarigginsUSA I'm glad I was otherwise incorrect :)
