  • We were poor in the first half- players were out of position, we couldn't put a run of passes together and we looked a step behind in all regards. Much better in the second half though. Defended well in the important areas for the most part, City had chances of course but their best (the Aguero goal) actually came as a result of Ramsey losing the ball during a period where we were on top. Gabriel and Chamberlain played well as did Monreal. De Bruyne was City's best player, even though the rating doesn't suggest so. Statistically it doesn't look great for us, but whenever certain other teams perform like this and win, they get praised. We are toughing out important wins, which is encouraging, but will need to play better in the final for sure.

  • @SteveHyland Didn't watch the match but I'm not so surprised that Arsenal won... sigh :/

  • @SteveHyland "whenever certain other teams perform like this and win, they get praised."... cough Chelsea cough cough LOL

  • Really disappointed I couldn't watch the game. Looks like the formation really suits Oxlade-Chamberlain especially, and Ozil too.

  • I really hope Arsenal win and Giroud scores because 1. I want Arsenal to win and 2. If Arsenal win and Giroud doesn't score I will have lost a bet.

  • I really hope that after dreadful refereeing season in EPL and eurocups there ll be some progress in starting video replays.

  • @tar88s Definitely need video replays. Something like 2 video challenges per team. If you make a successful challenge then your challenges stay intact, similar to cricket and tennis. The poor officiating is ruining football at the moment.

  • Sané will score or assist to a goal...

  • @neumi17 Maybe not...Quite the opposite, Sané was dreadful tonight. ManCity had 20 shots on goal by 12 players. Sané was the only one who didn't shoot. He also didn't have a single dribble. No shot and no dribble in 120 minutes? Rare stuff...

  • Disallowed goal for Man City for the ball going out of play. But the ball didn't go completely out. Poor decision. Passes completed at half time by both sides : Arsenal 79 Man City 241

  • @Yes Few millimetres in it judging by the replay. Can hardly blame the officials for that...

  • This referee Pawson never looks in control of any match he referees.

  • These stats are hilarious. 0-0 is the only one that matters though in reality.

  • i see this match something like a 2-2 full time

  • Arsenal win

  • Arsenal win @ 3 - 2 walcot , sanchez ,aguero and sane to score

  • 2-2 and Wenger showing who is the boss in ET

  • Easy win for the mighty Arsenal. One more trophy for the cabinet. Premier League soon.

  • @Jonji Who calls their own team mighty? blatantly a troll.

  • Man City will win FA cup remember THIS MOMENT

  • @A.r.m.e.n in 2018 or 2019 :)

  • In Arsene we trust, let's stand together. Come on Arsenal <3

  • Anybody else seeing a perfect BTTS?

  • Even though I want a new manager, I don't want Arsenal to lose, as I'm a fan. And fans never want their team to lose. Despite that, I think City will win this match 1-2. And I will bet on them to win it too.

  • @Overmars- I can certainly understand the reasoning for wanting us to lose this game and ultimately finish 5th in the league, short term pain for the potential of long-term gain, but I am unable to do that. I suppose most fans can be thought of as optimists within the short term, by that meaning, personally, I hope we win the F.A Cup, finish 4th+ and Wenger realises his support now constitutes the minority of Arsenal fans so decides to leave anyway having left us in a far better position than when he joined- with perennial European competition participation, some good personnel, an excellent stadium and in a solid financial base. That would be best case scenario. Wenger said in his press conference winning the F.A cup will have no bearing on his decision, presumably ditto for finishing 4th, and I think he is true to his word and I actually believe he has already decided his future and has told the board.

  • #Wenger Out!

  • Arsenal fans should hope to lose this game and the possibility to win the FA cup, otherwise Wenger would think that everything is fine again.

  • @Spyro Lol, have fun with another 2 years with Wenger, stupid downvoters.
