Team News
Burnley
Swansea
- Chris Wood is unlikely to lead the line for Burnley having played in Lima for New Zealand in the early hours of Thursday morning, so Sam Vokes is likely to return to the XI.
- Jonathan Walters is training outside on his own but won't be available for some time, while Tom Heaton remains a long term absentee. Dean Marney is nearing a return to fitness.
- Ashley Barnes could earn a start in a front two after he and Vokes effected the game at Southampton, also considering the physical and emotional fatigue that Jeff Hendrick is likely to be suffering following a heavy play-off defeat in midweek.
- Renato Sanches, Martin Olsson, Wilfried Bony and Angel Rangel are all in contention to feature after returning to training over the international break.
- Luciano Narsingh and Nathan Dyer compete for a spot on the right, while Tom Carroll and Ki Sung-yueng will also be vying for a spot in midfield.
- Kyle Bartley is the only player certain to miss out.
X2
Burnley mourinho-alike style should be stopped, x2 swansea
I feel this could be the same thing with crystal palace beating chelsea after the international break where palace players didn't play in international matches while chelsea's did and were tired and injured player like zaha returned and got the win for palace. Sure swansea were on a losing streak but 2 of those 4 losses was against top teams like arsenal and man u and after international break they would have had the chance to get their minds off of that losing streak. The main player to be the difference maker in my opinion will be fabianski, against burnley he was their man of the match 2 times they last played each other and kept burnley out and swansea manage to scrape scraped a 1 nil. And with a lot of injured players returning for swansea I would go double chance on them. Nuff said
I don't see how the Swans can keep the rather perfect stats against Burnley this time... The current forms of the teams are far from close. Burnley to win - 2:0.
Burnley 1 - 0 Swansea
Burnley win especially since they have never beaten Swansea at home since 2011...Sean Dyche the voodoo breaker
