Team News
Leicester
Man City
- Claude Puel will hope Vicente Iborra can recover from injury in time after picking up a knock before the international break.
- Few changes are expected to the team, with Demarai Gray now considered a first-team regular.
- Sergio Aguero was taken ill on international duty with Argentina but was given the all clear to return to Manchester. Nevertheless, Pep Guardiola won't take risks and he may only make the bench on Saturday.
- Raheem Sterling and Fabian Delph both withdrew from the England squad at the start of the international break, but both should be fit to feature against Leicester.
- Nicolas Otamendi serves a one-match ban on Saturday after reaching five yellow cards for the season. With Vincent Kompany sidelined, it could mean a rare start for Eliaquim Mangala. However, Guardiola may instead drop Fernandinho into defence and bring Yaya Toure or Ilkay Gundogan into midfield.
Kompany should have been sent off , denied Vardy a clear goalscoring opportunity
what a goal De Bruyne
1-4, goal and assist for Sané
Leroy Sane to score and Man city to be leading in first 15mins
bts, rest is no matter
@koziol.mutant but both didn't score, does that mean the rest mattters?
@koziol.mutant Only the rest mattered in this case...
I am picking liverpool to be the first team to beat man city at anfield in 14th january as payback for the 5-0 loss. lazio to beat inter milan on 30 december, celtic to go unbeaten again and psg also to go unbeaten whole season.
@RemyLebeu sheiks will sell some match for qsg, they will be champions anyway,, rest is sensible
Who will be the first team to beat man city, celtic, inter milan and of course p.s.g this season your guess is good as mine and if you can somehow predict the 1st losses for these 4 top teams then you are a football genius. Let's see replies and who gets it right in the not too distant future.
I think 2-4 is possible. Man City play expansive exciting football and Vardy has the pace and quality to hit them on the break. But their attacking quality should be too much for Leicester.
i can smell a sense of a surprise here ...but both team to score 100% for sure
Leicester city 2 - 3 City
Over 2.5 goals
Leicester 1 - 3 City
