Team News
Crystal Palace
Man Utd
- Timothy Fosu-Mensah joins Crystal Palace's lengthy list of players unavailable to Roy Hodgson due to the terms in his loan agreement from Manchester United.
- Hodgson expects James Tomkins to start against Jose Mourinho's side despite being forced off against Tottenham last weekend.
- Martin Kelly and Jeffrey Schlupp have trained all week and should feature for the home side here.
- If Joel Ward fails to shake off a knock, 20-year-old Aaron Wan-Bissaka could keep his place at right-back after making his debut last weekend.
- Jairo Riedewald could retain his place in midfield as Yohan Cabaye is set to miss out with a groin injury.
- All in all, Palace could be without up to 14 players on Monday night.
- Jose Mourinho is not expected to recover any of his injured players here and could go with the same team that started the 2-1 win over Chelsea last weekend.
- Victor Lindelof will hope to keep fit-again Eric Bailly on the bench after an assured performance against Chelsea.
- Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata will push for starts after settling for a place on the bench last weekend.
Why did the blues sell Matic? Oh yeah, Bakayoko .... who cannot even defend forget about scoring screamer like Matic.
M A T I C A T I C
a roller- coaster of events great save from de gea btw
Not as comfortable a win as I had predicted considering Crystal Palace's injuries but a win & a correct prediction nonetheless. United started slow & were very disjointed pretty much like the Deontay Wilder fight but got the much expected win in the end. Good effort by Crystal Palace. Worked hard tonight.
Never say die . GGMU !
Thank you. A win in this game is a must and has finally come through.
What a game this has turned out to be huh?
A win against a piss poor Chelsea side and United fans think they're back again. Mourinho is finished, and Liverpool on Sunday could be the final nail in the coffin
@Ianto , two goals against us and loser fool fans thought they were ahead of us in the table. Flopp is finished and united on Sunday could be the final nail in the coffin. Now , your statement looks a decent one
@Ianto are you still around you moron ?
@footballover Relax, I support United. I was absolutely fuming after that first performance, and rightly so. A great result, but the performance in the first half was so bloody poor. Mourinho doesn't know his best XI and it's affected us all season
@Ianto You don't support United pal
@footballover he ain't around for the dance party bro
Da Gea rooted in his spot... you don't see that too often... what a finish!
Is it just me or is Matic the most overated player in MANU squad this season ?. I mean, he was great last game against Chelsea but exept that game i think he is not even close from the Matich we used to see at Chealsea
@joker1707 - When you say that as Chelsea fan it will only ever sound like sour grapes, because you wish he was still a Chelsea player
@joker1707 jokes on you. lmao
@joker1707 jokes on you joker , he scored the best goal for man u this season in the dying minutes to give them 3 points
@joker1707 and Matic scores the winner! Yep. It's just YOU! LOL
@joker1707 nice goal all the same
@Nuwavedave It was a nice goal yeah, but he is still far from his original potentials
@joker1707 :)
@joker1707 lol matic and pogba overrated or not. They are the best midfielders in EPL.
@modric97 HAHAHA....DE BRUYNE IS A BALL BOY
@modric97 I'm a UNITED fan but here, you are exaggerating my friend
@joker1707 I hope that pogba and matic will be injured at the same moment in order to see man utd out of the big 6
Pogba has talent on the ball. He just has zero understanding of football, positioning , his job when his team don’t have the ball, has no work rate etc. He is like a talented child . Pretty pathetic really for a pro and exposes his whole team who all try their best to make up for his lack of passion and commitment . Do hope he pulls his finger out as I want MU to win this
Palace Scores within 11 min... wow
GO GO GO GO UNITED !!!!!!!
I dunno why Mourinho start with Lingaard
Guys may I ask, where is Romero the other goalkeeper, nowadays he's not on substitution
@RobbinsBismarck He got married and he is in honey moon vacation
19:28.... Comfortable win for Man Utd. Crystal Palace have too many injuries. Roy Hodgson can be forgiven for not getting a result here.
3-1 Utd
@alwatp Was close
Crystal palace 0 : 1 Manchester United 80% Tip X/2 Tip 0-2
A Milivojevic penalty would be nice for my FPL
I can see a surprise here i can smell a DRAW
@Cannavaro69 LOL, what happened to u man, u were way smarter few weeks ago
@lias Yeah i said i can smell :D sometime my nose betrays me dude lol
why does Zaha have the most motm predictions lol
you know the drill Manchester united 2-0 Crystal Palace
you know the drill Manchester united 2-0 Crystal Palace
Would love Palace to win here, but considering their form and injury list I just don't see it happening. 0-1/0-2 Man U
Man Utd win
U2.5
If you see that injury list, no way Palace will draw or win...
Palace will be very physical with their direct play and they are fighting for their lives.Maybe a 2-2 draw.
This could be a tricky game.Palaces tight narrow pitch may force united to play through the middle than use the flanks.
I don't see CP getting anything here. It should be a comfortable Man Utd win. 0-2, 0-3 that kind of result.
0-1, Lukaku
I guess this gonna be a draw
I have this feeling there could be an upset here.
@angelo44 True i feel the same buddy
1-2
Pro-tip about this game: don't bet on it. It could literally go in any direction not only with the final score, but with the goals as well.
@specter Only tip worth noting. True story.
Stinky match, I'm a long term fan of United but they are super shaky. Their wins are rarely safe and certain, THOUGH crystal palace and their hospital.... I mean they collect points even despite of it, but I can see it here as an edge for United. I would say 1.7 represents here value, nothing lower, so if rate will be lower I'm out.
0-2 MUFC!
I wonder if Mourinho will stick to the 433. He usually likes to play 4231 with an extra attacker, but more attacking players don't always improve the offense. Sometimes, an extra central midfielder can help the team attack better. He can help control the game, especially in the middle of the field. United shouldn't play Martial and Alexis together because both players can't seem to play well if they're not playing on the left. With Lingard in good form, I would like to see him and Alexis flank Lukaku like in the preview above.
