Sanchez, who has been good for the most part this season, had a mare today. Regularly played the wrong line, was out of position more than he was in it and needed to rely on his pace to make a last ditch tackle on at least 3 occasions. I don't think enough has been said of how much Spurs miss Alderweireld. I'm sure Pochettino would've toyed with playing a back 3 for this fixture had Toby been available. I'm also not sure why Lamela started ahead of Son, injury to H-M possibly? I don't see it being tactical but I didn't do a news search prior to the game and can't remember the commentators saying anything (not that I listen to them anyway). Davies was lucky to not be sent off for his challenge on Kompany but I tend to feel less sympathy for central defenders than those in other positions given what they can get up to. It is clearly a matter of when and not if City win the title, and that would've been the case had Spurs won, but I expected more from Tottenham.
@SteveHyland I think Lamela was preferred because of his willingness to press and win the possession in attacking third (made 3 tackles). That wasn't enough to win the game though, City were simply way better. Incorrect penalty decision didn't help though.
@uefalona It's hilarious how so many Liverpool fans have forgotten that they didn't have a problem when Daniel Sturridge claimed a goal from Philippe Coutinho in April 2016.
@LFCforever More people should hate them. They act like such a big team, but have won two league cups and an FA cup in 35 years. West Ham have won more...
@khonda The fact your comment has so many likes show how little people respect facts on this forum and instead are a slave to their irrational partisan instincts.
@khonda - Why, what have West Ham done in the last 35 years? Tney've once finished 3rd 32 years ago, spent 4 years in Div 2 / Championship and once been runner-ups in the FA cup. Spurs have accomplished more in the last 2 years as WHU in the last 35!
@andrew7taylor Spurs also won the UEFA cup on 23 May 1984 (33 year ago, 10 months, and 23 days ago). I suspect @khonda meant to write "30 years ago" but his blind hate interfered with his math or typing.
Ladies & Gentlemen These are the Tips for today easy money : Chelsea X2 @1.20 / Crystal Palace win @1.90 / Man City X2 @1.45 / Leverkusen vs Frankfurt Total Goals over 1.5 @1.20 / Hertha Berlin X1 @1.20 / Udinese X2 @1.55 / Inter Milan X2 @1.55 / Sevilla win @1.85 / Barcelona win @1.30 / Vitesse win @1.60 .....Total odds for this accumulator is @40.00...Good Luck guys
No single dfensive midfielder for City, 5 attacking players + Gündogan, Delph at left back, city with kane, son, eriksen and dembele and dier in midfield...I can´t imagine City getting a point after so many games with little rotation and Agüero injured and Fernandinho suspended...on the other hand seeing City lose 4 times in a row is strange. For me it´s Tootenham win + BTTS:
Accumulator bets : Newcastle vs Arsenal, both teams to score , Man City Double chance against Tottenham, Man United win against West Brom, Juventus win against Sampdoria, Lazio vs Roma - both teams to score , Real Madrid over 1.5 team goals against Malaga .
On paper both teams should be happy with a draw but, given the people involved, both teams will be very eager to win. Could go either way but hopefully the home side will edge it. Tottenham 3-2 Man City.
Tottenham Hotspur's first defeat of 2018 and it was to the soon to be (well deserved) champions.

@SteveHyland Fair assessment but I'd add that Kane didn't look fit or sharp ( despite his goal ;P ).

1-3?? I'm pretty sure it was 4-0 with Kane scoring all of them.

Both teams could easily win this game, depends on the day and situations during the game. I see here few goals but it can go either way.
