This was a 4-1-4-1 from Arsenal, although Wilshere dropped back to pick up possession from Xhaka frequently. We should've won by more but I will take a run of 1-0s at the moment. Cracking strike from Oezil. He was good all game. Alexis continues to misfire although it isn't from want of trying. Newcastle had a few decent moments and if they play like this throughout the season, they will pick up some valuable away points. Today, we just had a little bit too much for them.
Given we will heavily dominate; Mustafi & Ramsey are out and Wilshere playing as a box-to-box CM will do nothing but provide opportunities to be injured, I would like Wenger to play a 4-3-3 with Xhaka as the middle of the 3 CMs (and also sitting slightly deeper to make it look similar to a 4-1-2-3), Oezil & Wilshere dictating play in front of Newcastle's 18-yard box and a front 3 of Welbeck, Lacazette and Sanchez. The lack of movement against West Ham was worrying but we are a completely different team at home and have created an impressive number of chances (135 total, 8.44 per game) with 2nd placed Liverpool creating 'only' 116 (7.25/game). Defensive errors have counted for 3 of the 7 goals conceded (should be 4 imo) and Sunday league marking has counted for another two. Newcastle look every inch the newly-promoted side away from home and you can never assume you will make mistakes in defence or miss chances so I'm going for what should be a comfortable Arsenal win. 4-0.
@Diegolazo19 Cocky? Is that a reference to me being a Spurs fan? It's in my interest for Arsenal to drop a few more points but against Newcastle at home I just can't see it. It's a good fixture for Arsenal to bounce back in.

@SteveHyland Thank you for your essay submission but I'm afraid you missed the deadline therefore you will be capped at the pass mark
@SteveHyland I can't disagree.
can be again big win, 4-0
Time for Arsenal to get deported to China. We've seen enough.
@Diegolazo19 Don't be so radical. Wenger will be enough.
Arsenal will not drop any points here 100% win 4-2
@Andro19 Keep dreaming. The tinpot Arsenal are about to get smashed.
Home win.
@MEHJones Don't be cocky. Arsenal are a small club.

@Diegolazo19- The 3rd biggest club in England equals small in your eyes, does it? Let me guess, Chelsea fan since 2003 or City fan since 2008?
Darlow should be dropped for Elliot.
