Hopefully this time Costa Rica will finally (try to) play some football, now that they're definitely out of the picture.
If big clubs hire big players, then I think Shaqiri is bigger than his current club. Great player!
Xhaka, Shaqiri and Lichtsteiner have avoided bans for their Albanian double-eagle hand celebrations in Switzerland's match with Serbia. Probably the correct decision due to the gesture being politically inflammatory rather than racist. It makes Switzerland huge favourites to win here and possibly favourites to win the group(?), not that you would necessarily want that with Germany the likely opponent in that eventuality. Anyways, Switzerland need to win to guarantee qualification and that, I believe, they will do. 2-0. Hopefully including another craka from Xhaka.
