VAR is finally here. Long overdue.
Chelsea fans will feel disappointed and I must admit I didn't like our (Arsenal's) ultra-conservative performance in the 2nd half but 0-0 first leg result in any competition is a good result. Welbeck and Iwobi put a huge shift in and the defence was well organised for the most part. Hopefully Wilshire's injury isn't major. Impact injuries as a result of the ball being hit at you tend to hurt a lot, swell and bruise but usually don't result in a long layoff. We shall see.
Costa was a beast in the final third , conte will remain happy with baby morata who does nothing but complaining . Credit to Arsenal , they fielded a weaker side , still managed a point

@uefalona , I know that . Technically you are right but you know what I tried to say. If you have said Arsene Wenger, the match would end up in a draw in Stamford Bridge , he would have accepted that
What a disappointing match, Wenger will be the happier manager, good chance for Arsenal now in the 2nd leg at the Emirates.
1st comment here I made 2 days ago I said under 2.5 and a draw arsenal will settle for a draw people didn't believe saying arsenal cant play defensively people like uefalona well I don't need to say much more let the final scoreline do the talking.

@kunoy its the main reason he was sold from madrid. many of his goals were vs the bottom teams in the league and some of them belong in 2nd division

Historically Arsenal have a knack of bouncing back after a bad result. They very rarely lose twice in a row.
@MEHJones true... an odd stat, every 10 - 11th game between the two has seen over 4 goals... Just a thought!
arsenal will try to settle for a draw so you will see a defensive display by arsenal with under 2.5 goals and a draw.
