Germany

Netherlands
- Expect Mats Hummels and Toni Kroos to return to the side having sat out of the friendly victory over Russia altogether, but elsewhere changes may be kept to a minimum.
- Jonas Hector is also fit despite limping off in their friendly win over Russia, but Joachim Loew has conceded Marco Reus is a doubt. Timo Werner will continue up front if required.
- It was a strong first half showing from Low's side on Thursday, racing into a 3-0 lead having a adopted a 3-4-3 formation.
- Joshua Kimmich continued to line-up in midfield, while the likes of Leroy Sane and Serge Gnabry could keep their places in the front three having scored last time out.
- Low has hinted Thomas Muller could win his 100th cap from the start on Monday night, but that would only be out of sentiment.
- After an excellent display against World champions France, Ronald Koeman is unlikely to make changes to a winning side.
- It will therefore be the same lineup that secured a memorable 3-0 win over the Germans last month, with Georginio Wijnaldum given the free role in midfield.
If van Dijk played centre forward he'd be worth at least 50 million, same for central midfield. He's the complete centre back.
Germany was dominating Holland for 80 minutes. How come they have almost the same rating ?
@neumi17 these ratings are not fair very often. One team can dominate, but referee blunder in favour of the other team - and the overall ratings are the same. One player can work as hell the whole match without the ball for example and have 7.2 for example, the other has 3 touches(lats say came out for the final 5mins), and 1 sitter-goal, and has the same 7.2.
@neumi17 Hurts doesn't it xD
@Ayiae What exactly ?
@neumi17 'Dominating' is such a general word. Players gain points based on positive actions and get points detracted when they make mistakes. Also, the whole team loses a bigger number of points when they concede. Scoring/assisting gets you a 0.1+X while one defensive action gets you around +0.1. If your team scores you gain +0.1 while the goalscorer and assist gets more like I described.
@Big_Boss Yes I know but Germany had plenty more positive actions with the ball ( shots, keypasses, ...) than Holland. Even the dutch goalie got a low rating. Up to the 85 the minute the shots on goal were 13 - 5, on target 5-1 ...
For me, the ratings should be about how well you've played and how that would line up with long-term success. The ratings should not be about goals, since 1, you've already got the scoreline for that, 2, most goals are a product of the interplay between 2-3 players on both sides. IMO only they should get credit for scoring, but now everyone does, even the goalkeeper scratching his backside 80 meters away.
@neumi17 - But in the end the numbers ended up being almost equal, they don't count when they come. But more importantly, as Big_Boss described, the whole team on the field gets points for goals scored and points taken away for goals conceded. With that being equal, the ratings are going to be equal, even though that's quite a Quatsch.
This is Löws fault ... again! Germany was steamrolling over Holland, who didn't have anything to offer. But for no reason he takes Gnabry, Sané and Werner off the field and brings a sick Reus and slow and limited loser Müller and Goretzka on the pitch. Right away Germany played like in Russia again, Holland wasn't scared about counter attacks anymore and went forward... It could have easily been 3-0 or 4-0
@neumi17 'It could have..' Nice song! Do you know this song? 'Schade Deutschland - alles ist vorbei!'
@Big_Boss Your answer doesn't make much sense regarding my post .
@neumi17 Still Reus did good, he creates 2 very clear chances. Müller on the other hand, has nothing to do in the national team anymore.
very good game, i believe Germany was better, but they couldnt kill it. In this case, who comes first in this group?
@koevasd123 Dutch
@koevasd123 netherlands goes through
@koevasd123 Netherlands
@Lechiffre10 super happy then :)
Netherlands didn't deserve a draw, but hey that's football.
haha f**** france
de jong absoultely good cdm
@axelxyz He was poor to be honest, especially in the first half. As was de Ligt. Accountable for at least one goal, although Tete was absolute garbage.
What a match !!!!!!!
Is it possible to waste even more chances than Germany?
@leZickzack Werner...
@leZickzack Werner ♀️
Teams that played two days ago and are now playing again losing hmmm
Best german fluent football since 2013 ...
Poor Netherlands, can’t score a goal
@footballover Have some humble pie.
Sane... there are literally just a few players better 1on1 than him nowdays. This game is men vs boys so far. Glad that Germany are gaining some confidence, so much shit the last few months.
This loss serves them right. Confidence was way over board after their win over France
@leZickzack LOL
Great goal by Werner !
Going for a draw here 2-2
@Big_Boss Thumbs Up
2:0 Germany , mark my word
@Cannavaro69 "2:0 Germany , mark my word" We're laughing at you.
@Big_Boss I was so close until 85" )))
@Cannavaro69 ur a liar
@flephmang Don`t think so
@neumi17 loser
@flephmang Bigger loser
0-2
@Champion We all know you don`t like Germany but for a good prediction you need more than negativ emotions ...
This Dutch team is really impressive. I’m going for a draw tho. 1-1 or 2-2
@Lechiffre10 i was righhhtttt
@Lechiffre10 Impressive !!! the only match they played well is against France and thats because france players was so lazy in that match, and this holland team with the same players failed to qualify to World Cup,
@Cannavaro69 There is just so much wrong with your sentence. First of all, the Dutch have been playing better and better. They won against Portugal 3-0, played very decent in France when they lost 2-1, were impressive in periods against Germany during the 3-0 win and drew Belgium away 1-1. It IS impressive how much the team has improved in such a short time. "this holland team with the same players failed to qualify to World Cup" You're factually wrong. Just look at the lineup against France and compare it with the team that tried to qualify. Regardless of tonights outcome, the Dutch have been improving and impressed. This hasn't gone unnoticed to the world. Give credit where it's due.
@Big_Boss Thumbs Up for you bruhh
Germany will win here, mark my words
@koevasd123 your marked words have been erased in the 90th minute.
0-1 Depay to score and De Jong MOTM
@Nanami And Germany scoring no goal at home ? Don't think so ... :-))
@neumi17 Oh well. I've just realized that Holland doesn't really need to win so a 1-1 draw is very possible too
Germany and Holland have hated each other football wise for years.I remember the Rijkaard and Voller spitting incident years ago :)
@nexus747 There has been no hate for a long time. I only sense respect from Germany towards Holland and vice versa.
@nexus747 Rijkaard Shampoo; Macht das haar Völler... ;)
@JohnBenjamin bwahahahaha...did you come up with that by yourself?
2-2
@nexus747 nicely done
3+
I think Germany is gonna win this one, 2-0
Netherlands wins..maybe X-2
let's not forget where the term Schadenfreude stems from...
2-2
2-1, 2-0
@neumi17 I'll be shocked if Germany do not win 1-0.
@SeuneMilmas Germany already lost 3-0 against the Dutch at home so it wouldn't come as a big surprise if they lose again. But I think Germany will want revenge and play and push harder for the win, just to lighten the embarrassment. Draw or Germany win.
