- The Milan derby was postponed on Sunday meaning AC Milan will be well rested for the first leg of their Europa League clash with Arsenal.
- Gennaro Gattuso has no injury concerns and can field his best XI on Thursday evening. Mateo Musacchio will miss the return leg in London if he is booked here.
- Danny Welbeck will lead the line for Arsenal as Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are unavailable for the away side.
- Aaron Ramsey will return to the starting XI on Thursday after being rested at the weekend, but Nacho Monreal remains a doubt for the Gunners.
- Hector Bellerin will reportedly miss out on Thursday with a knee injury, meaning Calum Chambers should keep his place at right-back.
- Winning this season's Europa League is Arsenal's best hope of getting Champions League football next season, so their best available XI will be used here.
Milan created changes, but every decision in front of goal was panicked and strange. Over the bar, wide, some other player in a better position but they went for the shot.

Don't think I'll ever understand why Donnarumma is so highly rated.
@tdcm27 Potential. He can get way better with years and playing for a team like Milan only gives you more exposure.
@Nef21 No, he can't and he won't get much better than that. As I wrote a couple of weeks ago, Donnarumma still has deficiencies in his positional play and in his posture that are usually eradicated when a goalkeeper is 15-17. His high stature and his reflexes help to hide this.

@milanista26 Arsenal are in really awful form atm and confidence seems at an all time low. The fact that Aubameyang and Lacazette aren't playing is huge aswell since Welbeck is absolutely useless and barely ever scores. Very good opportunity for Milan to get a result here, also Arsenal's defending lately has been shambolic.
@grimmm You're right, but 2 months ago milan was in the same condition as arsenal. Arsenal has lost last games and their defence is awful, but even in these conditions they can play one good match against us, Milan must not underestimate arsenal.
I don't see us winning this leg. Best we can really hope for is a scoring one-goal loss, a 2-1 etc, so that if we play how we can at home there is at least the possibility of turning it around. The players look disillusioned, there are no leaders and Wenger is hardly a Churchillian figure to rouse a deflated group. Best thing for the club would be if we get knocked out of the EL but I can never bring myself to root against my team so hopefully we win the competition, get into the CL and the fact 88% of AST members want Wenger to be sacked in the summer tells. Not getting my hopes us though. Anyways. 2-1 Milan.

arsenal need to buy the keeper they are going up against donnarumma this will be the match that makes arsenal recognise him with a brilliant performance from him and make arsenal finally make a bid for him in the summer.

I think 1X is sure but do not expect easy win for Milan here because teams in Seria A cannot compare with teams in Premier League and Arsenal even with bad result in last matches cannot lose forever and have to at least try to draw here.

While Wenger cannot over haul 8 - 9 players as we speak, Team Morale seems to be the only thing he can work on. With Watford derby next, he really needs things to work here.... I expect BTTS, and a high scoring Draw....
