Team News
Man Utd
Tottenham
- Jose Mourinho challenged his players in midweek's 2-0 win away to Bournemouth to win spots in his team for Saturday's FA Cup semi-final clash against Tottenham.
- Paul Pogba and Ander Herrera looked to have done enough to warrant starts, but it's unclear whether Anthony Martial or Marcus Rashford caught Mourinho's eye.
- Ashley Young, Antonio Valencia, Nemanja Matic and Romelu Lukaku will return to the starting XI, while Alexis Sanchez will also hope to start against Spurs.
- David de Gea will start in goal as Sergio Romero is sidelined for Manchester United.
- Dele Alli, Mousa Dembele, Eric Dier, Davinson Sanchez and Kieran Trippier will return to Tottenham's starting XI after being rested in midweek.
- Mauricio Pochettino may turn to captain Hugo Lloris to start in goal even though Michel Vorm has been Tottenham's goalkeeper in the FA Cup this season.
- Toby Alderweireld started in Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Brighton but it's unclear whether he is back in favour to warrant a starting berth in a game of this magnitude.
- Pochettino may revert to a three-man defence against Manchester United, with Eric Dier or Alderweireld joining Jan Vertonghen and Sanchez in the backline.

I think we can all agree that--based on the QUALITY
@vfx_superstar I think we can all agree that--based on the QUALITY of football played over the competition--that Tottenham are the real winners here. No, they don't have an actual TROPHY, but if we're just going on "they deserved more" and "ooh, shiny football!" then, yeah, they're clearly victorious. (this is the snark I was typing when my computer had a fit and I only ended up with a tiny bit of snark instead. You're welcome.)
Tottenham are sooooo good with their 3 trophies in nearly 30 years
lingard assisted herrera
Ander Herrere= Man of the Match
Ole Ole Ole ! Glory Glory Man United !
Spurs : Vorm; Trippier, Sánchez, Vertonghen, Davies; Dier Dembélé; Eriksen, Dele, Son, Kane Man Utd : De Gea; Valencia, Smalling, Jones, Young; Matic, Herrera, Pogba; Lingard, Alexis, Lukaku.
If Manchester United progress, they will win the cup.
@splint3r , man-u will never this game
@Chizzyy ha ha
@Chizzyy , never say never with man united
@Chizzyy Will never what? Win or lose? lol
Manchester United 100% win
Man -u will loss this game
Jose needs to win it . If he can motivate his boys, they will win it . GGMU !
1-0 or 1-1
It will be boring match, too many tactics from mouhrino and spurs will play cautiously
Two or three weeks ago I would have been more confident. Tottenham need to play well for the full 90 minutes to stop United getting the chances they need.
