Team News
Crystal Palace
Man Utd
- Mamadou Sakho was forced off with an injury in Crystal Palace's 4-1 win over Leicester on Saturday and miss out in midweek.
- With Martin Kelly also sidelined for the Eagles, Scott Dann is the frontrunner to partner James Tomkins at the heart of Palace's back four.
- Aaron Wan-Bissaka is also a huge doubt ahead of Wednesday's match and Roy Hodgson will be desperate to have the talented right-back available here.
- Cheikhou Kouyate will hope to start in midweek but Hodgson may stick with the same front six as selected against Leicester.
- Manchester United have huge injury problems ahead of Wednesday's trip to Crystal Palace and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed Tahith Chong, James Garner and Angel Gomes from the club's youth teams will be part of his 18-man squad.
- Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata and Ander Herrera were all forced off in the first half of United's 0-0 draw with Liverpool on Sunday and are now sidelined. Marcus Rashford was also injured in the opening half but was forced to stay on for the whole match as United ran out of substitutes. He is not expected to play against Palace.
- Anthony Martial and Nemanja Matic are also ruled out for United having missed Sunday's draw with Liverpool. Alexis Sanchez will get a rare start as a result of United's injury crisis.
- Fred, Scott McTominay and Andreas Pereira all have a chance to start now that Herrera and Matic sidelined. Given the amount of changes required in midfield and attack, Solskjaer may stick with the same back four despite the quick turnaround.
Oof looks like a number of downed predictions here, draws and CP wins either way.
Ole's at the wheel
Crystal Palace +0.5 Asian Handicap
12 (win palace or utd no draw)
@furyqq Why ?
crystal palace to get something 1-1
United could be without nine first team players for tonight's game at Palace. 2-2
This summa.
I hope we buy Wan-Bissaka this season. Man's real.
@MUATSCINMA Quite a risk though. He's been brilliant this season, but I think it's his first full season? I think it's too much of a risk for now considering United already have a young risky full back in Dalot. Well, if you're talking about a different "we" like another team, then please ignore this comment.
M.United as i know they have around 10 injured players...my prediction is home win...CP 2 : 0 M.United.
Chance for Fred, captain of the forgotten bench players, to show his quality... 0-1 United
You know whatUnited isn't winning this I call a goalless draw
@SadChelseaFan I would be shocked if Palace did not win 2-1
Man U will grind out a win here even though im desperate for Palace to get the points. 2-0 United
I do not know how but unfortunately United will win.
Who do United even have that can play? Time to integrate some kids. Chong, Garner, Gomes could be seeing gametime soon. Greenwood is injured as well sadly.
