  • Only saw the last 20 minutes but the starting line-up suggests that Sarri was trying to implement his Napoli system where Mertens played as a false 9. Accurate? This would be the same system which failed earlier in the season, incidentally.

  • @SteveHyland Even if everything fails, you have to try again ofc. But indeed it feels like they swapped the tactics that they knew, but didn't do too well; For a tactic which can be good apparently, but can't be used with success at the moment. There is too much at stake for Chelsea right now to do stuff like this (?)

  • Jorginho is useless. He has all 31-year-old Fàbregas flawless and doesn't have half of his pass. The only think Jorginho can do is passing the ball quickly to the sides to avoid any pressure (cause he can't hold on the ball).

  • @MrNemobody *flaws *thing

  • @MrNemobody Fabregas was soo god before Chelsea. So was Jorginho . .

  • great display, LFC were on a head higher of Chelsea today

  • No red card for Fabinho is just a joke

  • @xavistu for spit on a grass? ahahhaha deluded fans are just a joke

  • Robertson almost did a ”gerrard”

  • Back to the top. It's coming home!

  • The 15-minute Klopp masterclass at the beginning of the 2nd half was too much for Sarri.

  • @BeautifulLoser How can there be a "15-minute masterclass"? You either do a masterclass during the whole game or you don't, FFS.

  • @splint3r Evidently it was a very condensed masterclass. The whole 90-minute package in 15 minutes for the same price.

  • @BeautifulLoser No, it wasn't. Liverpool did not outplay Chelsea, they were simply the luckier side. If Willian and Hazard had scored their big chances, it would have been a 2:2.

  • @splint3r Hätte, hätte, Fahrradkette...

  • Hazards rating is exclusively based on his 8 dribbles today. If you subtract those, not much is left that justifies a rating higher than 6.5 ...

  • @neumi17 Yes dribbles seem to be valued too highly here. Rating too good for this performance. But in general imagine this Chelsea team without Hazard. He is carrying them big time. I like Sarri but it's not working out.

  • @neumi17 lol he played 45 minutes as a striker where he barely got the ball just when he was moved back to his preferred position got 2 really great chances but unfortunately missed them was like probably the 2nd best player after Kepa for chelsea too

  • @EdenHazard10- Are you a fan then?

  • @neumi17 how about two wasted opportunities ?

  • @youssef424 Yeah, so only 6.3 ...thx

  • Chelsea should be happy that Real is willing to pay 100 k euros for overrated mug Hazard :)

  • @koziol.mutant How many matches did you wait to come here and say this? He has more MotM in the league than any other player.

  • @koziol.mutant Lol...if it weren't for Hazard they would be somewhere around the mid of table.

  • Today everybody could see that Callum Hudson Odoi still has a very long way to go before being considered a " top class talent" . He is a bit bit over hyped ...

  • @neumi17- A young (talented but raw) English player over hyped by the UK media? No way!

  • @SteveHyland I am referring to the media in Munich, who thinks he is the next Dembele or Mbappe ;-)

  • I can't believe how many of you thought that Chelsea would win this. Liverpool won this game before it started. Just look at the lineups!

  • What a great goal by Salah..WOW.

  • @spectre08 Yes, spectacular ! And the built up to Mane's goal was great too ...

  • @neumi17 It was...Mane's 12th goal in 15 games...

  • At HT Liverpool has 1 shot on goal and won 1 dribble

  • Premier League's two best (or at least most influential) players of the season facing each other - which one comes out on top? Strange that Chelsea start without a striker again, that could turn to Liverpool's favor. Not that Higuain or Giroud have been that impressive, but it would bring more out Hazard to play the a forward who can hold the ball.

  • 2-2

  • Salah will get the job done.

  • @GioMonaldo Or Hazard ...

  • if Liverpool wins this match they will become the favourites for the title despite having only two points more with one more match played. but that is a big if ....

  • Worth noting Liverpool havent been Chelsea since 2016 (Pool away), and Liverpool havent won Chelsea at home since, well, 2012.... there is always a first time thou.... 0 - 0?

  • @mabeste *beaten

  • Man City won so the pressure is now on Liverpool. They will bottle it :)

  • CHELSEA Kepa, Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Emerson, Kante, Jorginho, Loftus-Cheek, Hudson-Odoi, Willian, Hazard

  • LIVERPOOL Liverpool XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Fabinho, Keita, Salah, Mane, Firmino

  • 2-1

  • no brainer over 2.5, 2-2 csl

  • Liverpool win purely down to the fact Chelsea played Thursday and will feel leggy. Home advantage should get pool over the line. 3-1 pool

  • Hazzard v Liverpool gonna be awesome,,,

  • liverpool get the results if they control the Hazzard

  • I don't think Sarri would start CHO even if Pedro and Willian would play 10 games in a week

  • Expect Higuyan not to score!

  • @albgunn wow how did you predict that?

  • @albgunn Giroud and Higuain... Can't get it into my head. What's next? Call in Peter Crouch or Emile Heskey?

  • Wen Henderson is in the team Firmino can play more offensive, he doesn't drop too deep in midfield. Liv 4-0 Chelsea

  • @alxdru -h-

  • 1-0 Chelsea, Hazard's gonna send Alisson the wrong way from the penalty spot

  • Liverpool will win

  • draw, or a win for Chelsea, Hazard to shine!

  • it will a repeat of 2013/14 Chelsea will win this one 2-0

  • Liverpool 2-1 Chelsea Hope and think so. Chelsea is on a role, Salah not n form but Liverpool is just way stronger this season and way more fun to watch

  • This will be a repeat of the 2013/14 season. Chelsea to win this one 2-1 or draw 1-1.

  • Liverpool 1-1 Chelsea

  • 2-1 liverpool a salah- hazard game

  • Ridiculous whoscored predicting a draw. Both teams are absolutely desperate for points here I could imagine a win for either side but to pick a draw at this point in the season is stupid. 2 dropped points for liverpool means the almost certainly don't win the league, and 2 dropped for chelsea means their top 4 spot is at the mercy of other teams. This preview looks like the work of a city or united fan imo.

  • @swagio The fact that both sides are under pressure to record a win is the reason it could end up being a draw. Again going by their H2H stats at Anfield, I would pick 1-1 too.

  • Edit- should be a period between "here" and "I"

  • @swagio so what's your prediction, then?

  • Liverpool 2-0 Chelsea
