Everton
Chelsea
- Kurt Zouma cannot face parent club Chelsea due to the terms in his loan agreement. Yerry Mina is expected to deputise in his absence.
- Seamus Coleman was a last-minute withdrawal against Newcastle last weekend because of illness and Marco Silva will be desperate to have the right-back available here.
- Leighton Baines and Phil Jagielka are other injury concerns, though neither would start if 100 per cent fit.
- Morgan Schneiderlin and Andre Gomes are in competition for a starting berth this weekend. The latter got the nod last time out.
- Gonzalo Higuain missed Thursday's Europa League clash with Dynamo Kyiv through illness and remains a doubt here.
- Olivier Giroud scored a hat-trick in his absence in Ukraine and will hope to be rewarded with what would be just his seventh league start of the season.
- Sarri shuffled his pack in midweek and will recall the likes of Eden Hazard, Jorginho and David Luiz for Sunday's trip to Goodison Park.
- As Willian and Mateo Kovacic started in midweek, it's safe to assume Pedro and Ross Barkley will start at Goodison Park.
Nice scoreline for Everton but it is of no value.
@iluveverton ofc it is
@Fromhell what value is it? The season is over.
Chelsea was playing good in the first half, but they can't score. And this defence is just awful.
Arrive was about to stop 2 penalties
Chelshit and Shiteball exposed........once again
Pedro should be sent to the reserve team.
@Guilain According to the stats board he was better than Hazard, Higuain and 9 other Chelsea players...
Hazard remata al palo y no lo habeis puesto
Where is the hit post by Hazard ? I know it was deflected but it was clearly on target
@Aksael hitting post is NOT means hit on target
@KiraFabri Im talking about the WS hitting the post logo
@KiraFabri but it does shows in the lineup whenever someone hits it and it is not showing it rn
CHELSEA Arrizabalaga, Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Alonso, Jorginho, Kante, Barkley, Pedro, Higuain, Hazard
Chelsea have a chance here and that could give them the advantage in performance while Everton let it slip away last weekend which could hinder them for a result here
"As Willian and Mateo Kovacic started in midweek, it's safe to assume Pedro and Ross Barkley will start at Goodison Park." Sarri is indeed very stubborn, but I wouldn't be so sure Pedro will start after disappointing game against Wolves. Willian and Hudson-Odoi had a great game in midweek so one of them should start up front, as well as Giroud. Sarri subbed Willian for Jorginho last weekend and he might be forced to do something similar here as Everton could turn out to be a difficult opponent for Chelsea, despite their inconstancy. 1-1 or 1-2.
@Castle I would be shocked if Chelsea didnt win 3-1.
@SeuneMilmas ZAP
Hazard is great player, so hopefully he comes together with Mbappe in Real Madrid in the summer and make club great again!
@stefanm He cannot as Chelsea have a transfer ban.
@nexus747 That stops Chelsea from registering new players until January 2020. It doesn't stop any current players from leaving.
