Congratulations Son on getting the first EPL goal at the new White Hart Lane.
Palace have a really good recent XG going into this match but by reaching 36 points they have probably also just secured staying up so they might take their foot off the gas just slightly.
4-3 win for spurs. zaha hat trick.
There could be some pressure on Tottenham's players to open their new stadium with some big win against a London rival, which could upset their game a bit... I am backing Palace to score a goal here.
Both teams have scored in five of Tottenham’s last six league games.Tottenhams first game at their new ground.
GG or >2.5
surely tottenham win
i think both teams will score, Tottenham will win
Easy win for Tottenham.
Spurs are in very bad form in the league since Kane returned. Based on the form of the two teams I'm going to say Palace will win.
@Champion Form, by it's definition, changes. A recent analysis on EightyFivePoints found little evidence that form was, by itself, particularly predictive. It's certainly not as predictive as home advantage. However, whether the Spurs players will immediately feel at home remains to be seen.
@Champion you aren’t speaking like someone who’s analytical when it comes to football. You actually think Tottenham dropped 14 points and got dumped out of the cup by Crystal Palace to lose to the same Palace in front of their home fans in a new stadium. Think please.
@Daccoh If a team is in bad form, the chances of them losing to a smaller team grows exponentially. It's basic.
@This_Pro_Boiii Exactly. Worse form more likely to lose this is kiddie stuff
@Daccoh Your comment has no real logic to it.
@Champion if you think Spurs will keep losing you are mad If you think they will lose to Palace in their debut on new stadium you are dumb If you think?
This match will be Tottenham's first match in their amazing new stadium. The home players might start off a little nervous and Palace can be dangerous away from home (as testified by Man City, Leicester, and Wolves). However, the home crowd will be in good voice and should lift the team to win all three points. In contrast to the usual 1-0... I sense that there will be goals: Tottenham 3-1 Palace.
The last five league games between these two teams have finished 1-0 to Tottenham. Moreover, 7 of the last 13 meetings in all comps between these two teams have finished 1-0 to Tottenham.
