Team News
Werder Bremen
Borussia Dortmund
- Marco Friedl or Milos Veljkovic should come in at centre-back, with Niklas Moisander having to serve a one-match ban.
- Johannes Eggestein could get a chance in attack, if Milot Rashica does not recover from a hip injury in time.
- Otherwise, manager Florian Kohfeldt is unlikely to make any unforced changes.
- Lukasz Piszczek should return from injury to replace the suspended Marius Wolf at right-back.
- Christian Pulisic and Jacob Bruun Larsen provide further options on the flanks.
- Mario Götze should switch to a deeper position to replace the suspended Marco Reus, with Paco Alcácer expected to come in up front.
Pizarro is still rocking it at the age of 40. Gives me hope for Messi.
@GioMonaldo omfg, Pizarro is real man, messi is just a PR catoon hero for kids.
@dzvinka stfu asswipe, Messi is the god of football
The chokers are back at it again.
Can't see Borussia Dortmund winning this one-although I pray they do. Yes, Werder Bremen were thrashed by Fortuna Dusseldorf. But I think that has more to do with Bremen playing Bayern back to back. And they easily been one of the better team of 2019. Since Bremen are going to use three man attack I'm kinda wondering why Kohfeldt is not using Johannes Eggenstein here instead of Yuya Osako. Johannes is young, talented and your future world class centre forward. Seems to me Werder is only going to benefit if they play younger Eggenstein more
