Benfica have a great team atm and are clearly in form but the manager continues to be just average and I can't see this team win against a european giant while being managed by Rui Vitória.
That being said I honestly think Benfica is the 2nd best team in this group and they are playing at home, Bayern look okay and with the amount of talent they have it's going to be a win
1-2 if things happen as normal, can see Benfica getting away with a tie but don't trust it too much and play safe
This is the hardest match Bayern will have in the group stage. I think Benfica is weaker compared to the team they had last time they faced Bayern, which ended in 2-2 draw and a very tough win for Bayern by 1-0 at Allianz, but after all the players they sold, they still have some good ones, like: Sálvio, Cervi, Grimaldo, Pizzi and an amazing 19 year old kid who dominates the midfield and runs with very high speed for the counter-attacks, called Gedson Fernandes.
So it is kind of hard to predict the outcome, but another draw between these two sides wouldn't be surprising.
kind of bitchy from Kovac to only give Muller 2-5 minutes of play on his 100th CL appearance, especially since this was only the 1st group game...
I hope Javi's limping isn't too serious
Gnabry won 2 dribbles ...
wow Renato first goal in 991 days

Seemingly a high scoring game. Either Bayern win or Draw.

@hellreaper Our team atm is better than that 2-2 team.
>Bayern Munich are winless in their last three Champions League games. Yeah nice info. Comparing games against Real Madrid and Benfica(no offense)
1-3 here, and Lewa to score
