Team News
Spartak Moscow
Rangers
- Luiz Adriano recovered from injury to start in Spartak Moscow's 2-1 defeat at home to Ural at the weekend.
- Denis Glushakov is now being selected for matchday squads but his only start since September was a recent cup game. Andrey Eshchenko remains absent.
- Spartak Moscow will also be without Alexander Selikhov, Samuel Gigot, Zé Luís, Fernando and Pedro Rocha.
- The absence of Rocha and Ze Luis leaves the home side short of options up front, meaning Luiz Adriano will likely have to make his first appearance in the competition this season.
- Daniel Candeias was sent off in the league at the weekend but is fine to feature in midweek if selected by Steven Gerrard.
- Rangers have recovered Graham Dorrans and Scott Arfield since last playing in the Europa League but Jamie Murphy remains sidelined.
- Borna Barisic failed to recover from injury in time to face St. Mirren at the weekend and remains a doubt ahead of their trip to Russia.
- With Arfield available, Rangers may revert back to a 4-2-3-1 formation on Thursday evening.

@Gambino78 I'll be shocked if Rangers do not win 2-0 tonight.
