I have seen him bring a squad of players that Conte had (that got knocked out in the group stages) straight to the Champions League final and lose against one of the best Barca teams of all time. His in game management is often superb, making necessary adjustments during many games and out thinking other coaches. One game against a fantastic ajax doesn't change that.

Napoli outplayed Juventus with 10 men despite the loss what a shame Allegri told his player to stay back and Ronaldo was motivating the players to press high and you think you know football. @aymane.spur I watch every Juventus game for the past 10+ years. And I don't even like Juventus. Allegri can get his tactics wrong sometimes, like any coach. I have seen him bring a squad of players that Conte had (that got knocked out in the group stages) straight to the Champions League final and lose against one of the best Barca teams of all time. His in game management is often superb, making necessary adjustments during many games and out thinking other coaches. One game against a fantastic ajax doesn't change that.

One thing we should not forget is that Ajax got results at Bayern and Real, but both teams were in a mess at the time of the game. Juve are not.
So it didn't even matter that Juve were not a mess. Ajax apparently can also deliver against strong teams. I knew they could play some nice football from their Eredivisie games, but I underestimated them at the higher level.
