PSG still sets the gold standard for bottling. It's not like they didn't play energetic enough and therefore lost 0-1 with bad luck. No, first they get a really good starting position and then half the team goes at it HARD from different angles. This time you had: the beautiful own goal; Mbappe needlessly collecting a red card 1 min before penalties; Areola properly throwing penalties (wrong direction 5/6 times); Tuchel botching tacs and wasting his last substitution on Nkuku instead of Buffon; And of course Nkuku, who came in a few minutes before the end, just to take the penalties and then goes ahead and becomes the only one to miss. Just epic stuff.
I can't believe I missed this game simply bc I didn't know it was today and it's placed so low on the live scores main page! This was a final, whoscored should put finals on top.
This shows the crazy money spent on this PSG team that doesn’t feel balanced and has a poor attitude. Historic upset by Rennes. Stupid by Mbappe getting a red card so late in the game with penalties looming.
@footballer11 Ronaldo and Messi play as forwards, the main team forward whether they are central or wide. If they play wide they plays nothing like wingers, they play as inside forwards that don’t defend and save all their energy for attacks. Ronaldo especially is the pivotal forward of any team he plays in and gets many chances. Messi is the main playmaker and gets loads of the ball to dribble with along with chances. Neymar plays as an inside forward too mostly but helps defend more, he also tends to play wider on the side of the field although can play as a number ten / second striker. Neymar is often the playmaker and not the player the team wants to feed all the chances to . Neymar is above Messi and Ronaldo quite comfortably in internationals, although evidently below them by a distance in club football making a comparison between the three difficult when international football is traditionally seen as the pinnacle of football.
@footballer11 messi scored penalty goal in chile stadium on copa america 2015 vs chile but didnt win. Neymar did the same on olympic football only difference is that his team also scored the penalties so they won the tittle
@KlaasJanHuntelaar hhhhhhh are you drunk ? i seed helped his team he was the best player in those cup + messi is useless without a good team mate barca was trying 4 year while buying 3-4 player every year and messi can't win a single ucl hahahahha @Champion stop overrating what messi do he get more assist in a single match than what ronaldo got fro his teammate in juventus even suarez and alba assisted him more than other attacker in there team

@GioMonaldo Yeah, I don't get why they put cup games so low in the tables. They should put them with league matches.
@GioMonaldo I missed it because I thought it would be another useless Ligue 1 game: Joke is on me! I am pissed now seeing the scoreline.
hahaha what a small club mentality! mbappe and neymar should run away from this pathetic team.

lol
amazing how both cups are won by mid table ligue 1 teams. its good for french football

Duell of the dribble gods, Neymar and Ben Arfa
Neymar is a great player.
@stefanm but he is not a legendary player
@BarcaPlsLetMeDown he is young he could be
@stefanm 27 is not that young. also messi and ronaldo at 27 were legends already smashing records here and there
@BarcaPlsLetMeDown Neymar is not a striker who is defined by a lot of goals.
@neumi17 also ronaldo and messi they are winger and sometimes play as 2nd striker

@neumi17 i guess. but i feel he really has not yet left a mark in the current generation of footballers
he won the olympic football + Confederations Cup that make him a head of messi that didn't win nothing with his country
@footballer11 messi scored penalty goal in chile stadium on copa america 2015 vs chile but didnt win. Neymar did the same on olympic football only difference is that his team also scored the penalties so they won the tittle
@footballer11 dumb? messi won olympic football with his country
@footballer11 arbeloa won 3 trophies representing his country, arbeloa > neymar

@KlaasJanHuntelaar Neymar has plenty of assists and goals in internationals, he’s been the stand out attacker in the era in internationals.
