An even match until Leicester scored. We had a couple of good moves but there was a fair bit of rust (Bellerín, Holding, Lacazette) and the new system took a while for some players to adjust to. I don't think Torreira and Guendouzi were as disciplined as they should have been but it's hardly surprising that players were caught out of position sometimes with the amount of formation changes. I'd like Emery to keep this formation but exchange Kolašinac for Tierney. I believe, with time, it could suit our personnel and provide the elements which I mentioned earlier. Could even ho with a 3 across the front if the use of a #10 doesn't work. Leicester are a very good side who have a settled system and gameplan but it wasn't as lopsided a game as people predicted.
with arsenal, man utd and spurs in transition you cant expect them to challenge for top 4. chelsea have done well without hazard, but ive noticed lately that liverpool and man city are scraping victories , whereas leicester suddenly look the most stylish. dont know if we can win it, but we will give it one hell of a go. and as much as i loved the 2016 team that sat and defended and then counter attacked with stunning simplicity, the current team is not only better but also much better to watch
Wow Arsenal sucks. Deep pockets and they still field a shitty team. On another note, poor Bernd Leno. Lost in Arsenal's lousy season is his stellar play. He's kept them in every game this season but he gets no help from his backs.
I’m a hardcore Leicester fan. And tonight we will not win. Leicester is a team that performing bad once being the favourite side or the Odds is good to them. 1-1, 1-2
@ambrose I don't think Leicester's player will get carried away with the odds. Brendan will always had his players focus for 90minutes, but Emery had a huge mental problem, and worst he had no solution. Mentally Leicester will win, Arsenal had better individual players, but Leicester currently good as a team. And football is always a team sport. I just hope Arsenal can play a decent football.
Tough game for Leicester (or maybe not, after watching Arsenal of late) but they should win this. Hometeam to kick Arsenal's Arse and send them home with their tail between the legs ... again. BTTS sound good though
When Emery came in, I expected what essentially amounts to a 4-1-4-1 (or a 4-3-3 with a sitting DM and traditional #9, if you like) with the two wingers being opposite-footed to the flank they were on so that the full backs could overlap/provide width. I also expected a high defensive line with two quick CBs, an aggressive high press involving the front 3 and a midfield where everybody knows their role and where to be at any given point. I also knew there would be some slight horses-for-courses tinkering because I've seen him do that at Sevilla & PSG against better opposition to good effect. How much of that do we have at Arsenal? Rodgers' Leicester is more like what I imagined than this current Emery team is and Brenda has lesser personnel. I'd like Unai to be given time, but I want him to implement his system even if we lose games. He is unlikely to do that while fans are putting unreasonable pressure on him despite giving Wenger over a decade of failure before #WengerOUT.
Ran out of characters. I have a feeling that Emery will use a 3-4-1-2 formation. Not what I want but let's predict the XI anyway: Leno, Chambers, Luiz, Holding, Bellerín, Torreira, Guendouzi, Tierney, Özil, Lacazette, Aubameyang. I think Emery will want WBs to push Chilwell & Ricardo backwards. It's imperative that Chambers and Holding play as wider CBs to cover the vacated space but I like the idea of Luiz being able to spray passes from deep. Özil was praised by Unai in the press conference as well as being left out midweek so I'd be surprised if Mesut doesn't start. My head says loss but I'm going to predict 2-2 for no apparent reason.
This game has 3/4:0 written all over it. If Arsenal cannot register a single shot for 95 mins of against Vitoria Guimaraes then Leicester will be 5 times more dangerous. And emery setting up his team away from home!! Just look at the Watford game a few weeks ago. Conceded 37 shots and both teams had 11 players on the pitch!! #emeryout. Get this donkey out of the club!
@stefanm- Sorry, I reported this by mistake. Anyways, it wouldn't be a shock if we lose, I'd be shocked if we won to nil or were able to keep the lead.

Easy win for Lester...3-1
If this Arsenal side have any fkn bottle they will show up and fight for their pride as well as their manager.
Apparently Brendan Rodgers is wanted by Arsenal who are on the verge of sacking Emery.
4-1
Leicester won 9 of last 12.Leicester have the best five-match-form in the EPL.

Papa Rodgers is going to spank us like the under-performing wastrels we are.
Big club Leicester Arsenal? 3-1
Look at that preview, all but one of Leicester's players are in-form, Arsenal only has one. Huehuehue. God have mercy on us Gunners.
