Well my prediction aged like Kevin Spacey’s likability.
Van Dijk OUT!
Just like to point out a random stat: As of right now.. Firmino has more tackles per game than VVD in the premier league!
fantastic game from Man-U inexperiend youngsters (McTominay & James) . Good tactic from OGS (may be if the players passed the ball to their teammates in good positions, during the 1st half, instead of shooting, they could won the game). There is no touch or marginal touch on Origi, so in my opinion it's not a foul. not to forget Origi fall in to the opposite side which mean a (slight body contact, if there is a contact). Liverpool still the strongest team in the world.no doubt. Klopp must respect his image and stop bothering 4th ref . He wants to break rules for his team by anyway, which is creating more haters to his great team.
OGS deserves a lot of credit for not getting battered, despite playing Fred in the heart of midfield. The man must be some sort of miracle-worker.
Somewhere in England, a bald fraud is smiling.
@GioMonaldo Mike Dean?
Why bother with VAR if you don't do it right. Let the referee at least check on ALL controversial decisions. The Man Utd goal should clearly not have counted.
@benj Let me provide you some factual information. For EPL, they will check for any infringements by the attacking team in the "attacking possession phase" that led to the goal, where "The starting point for a phase of play that leads to a goal or penalty incident will be limited to the immediate phase and not necessarily go back to when the attacking team gained possession". A pro-Goal argument is that the incident of Origi happened before ManUtd gained possession, i.e. before the attacking possession phase began. If so, this is out of VAR's scope, and unnecessarily to discuss whether Origi was fouled. You may still argue Origi was fouled and criticize the ref, but it had nothing to do with VAR.
@carrollyim Then why the VAR check for like 2 minutes in which they looked at that scene
@benj Origi fall as if he was shot from the slight contact. From the other side James was fouled 2 times by VVD and Fabinho, not even a foul.
@benj It has to be a really, blindingly obvious ref error before it gets overturned, like literal GBH. That's the way it is with the referee mafia in the PL.
@What4 Don't they have the option to look at it like in the CL? It seems like a dckish thing to do if they arbitrarily decide not to.
@benj Origi's dive convinced at least one fool I see.
2nd controvertial goal in a row keeps Liverpool alive. Salah was clearly offside and in spite he tried to get out of that position, never left to take part of the play.
@dib Can't edit post, it was not Salah, was Firmino.
@dib Nothing controversial about Liverpools goal and Salah wasn't even playing
@benj Yeah I correct myself. I meant Firmino, he was clearly offside at the beggining.
@dib But he wasn't interfering with play, so it doesn't matter.
Daniel James is the most annoying, divey, punchable footballer since Arjen Robben
@What4 Obviously you have not noticed the 'world class' talent of Playmar.
@What4 better than Pepe though
@What4 Nah, that's on Salah
manchester win the match 2-1
Man United player kicks Origi in the back of the leg - no foul Sadio Mane completely accidentally touches the ball with his hand - foul Ok football.....
@Nico1 No clown, Mane controls the ball with his arm, that's called a handball not a foul. And if diving is an art then Origi deserves an Emmy for that dive.
@GioMonaldo The only reason the ball even touches Mane's arm is cos the United defender is fouling him and putting him off balance. It was accidental so not a control of the ball it just hits it and I agree Origi went down very easy but he's still been kicked in the leg so still a foul.

@JotaroDio Good name for a team that leads the league by a large margin and got a draw today.
@neumi17 So what?
@splint3r So what what ?
@neumi17 If they don't win the title, leading after 9 rounds would mean absolutely nothing.
loserpool
I will brake my handphone if liverpool will not win this game
@dedjuliawan time to stay true to your words mate !!
Draw
@GioMonaldo I would be shocked if the team with less possession didn't win 2-0
@SeuneMilmas you might be right on this one
@GioMonaldo You've been proven right.
I would be shocked if the team with less possession didn't win 2-0.
Liverpool might miss Salah and Matip, if they are not fit to play this game. It won't matter though as United are worse than ever. Should be a stabile win for the Poolis. 1-3 perhaps
Another bore draw is coming.
@Byakuya well bet
i know this is off topic but does anybody else agree that in the very near future we will paying more attention to the MLS than the premier league? i've found the MLS to be compelling viewing this season and it's only getting better now theyre into the playoffs! i really hope this game isnt a 0-0 stink out
@idiot Agree. UEFA needs a salary cap and trades. Get rid of the buying/selling system. In any given UEFA league they're are only 2-4 teams that have any chance of winning. It's the same money bag predators eating the same minnows. US leagues have far more parity and competition. UEFA is a cesspool of corruption dominated by the same landed gentry who buy the championships every year. It's why I only care about the EPL for fantasy. The team sport aspect is a joke.
@nizzle Clubs should breakaway from Uefa and Fifa, much like how clubs within Rugby Union broke away from the structure of their European Cup in 2012. The IFAB needs to take control off fifa/uefa and take football forward. would be cool if CR7 moved to and advocated the MLS as a place to be and play. Beckham is up to something too yk it's gonna be real interesting
@idiot I follow MLS as well. Vela and Zlatan are entertaining, and the games have good "speed" and offensive football.. I hate the play-off knockout system though.- It obliviates the whole season (?)
@Fromhell cool youve made a good choice! i dig the fans! the atmosphere at, what seems to be, the majority of stadiums is electric - this compliments the fast, attacking football you mentioned! LAFC, Atlanta, NYFC and Beckhams new franchise side are an interesting prospect on the footballing stage - imo. the draft system, contracts and league system, imo, are the future of football. i hope tomorrows youngsters will move to the mls as they would be adored! nothing too much abuse, corruption and shallowness in european football.
@idiot brasilian league is all about that with 1000x more supporters and it's garbage. No money invested in MLS teams will ever overcome 100+ years of history from european football. I do agree that they have a good project nonetheless but it would take decades of money investment to reeducate americans to watch "soccer" the way they look at nba of nfl.
@porzingis also forget money for one minute. lets be real and talk about soul, heart and ambition. america has that can bring rewards greater than £££. interesting decade ahead of us...
@porzingis idk man i dont think brazil and the usa compare. if i were an emerging player i would see the stability, luxuries, security and culture of the US-of-A a much bigger lure than Brazil. I would rate the MLS as a better option than going on loan, or playing for, a club lower than the championship in England. Everything about the MLS has evolved and now it could evolve further: if young players turn their back on europe and decide to create a new trend by creating something new in America. Also the NFL is on the decline man, didn't you hear? Football/soccer is on the up
Most probable score 1-3
Lot of opportunity for LFC here. They could 1. Equalize most consecutive EPL wins record; 2. Equalize EPL start win record; 3. Take 2nd Man Utd manager scalp in a row.
@benj But they will not.
Firmino anytime to score
This will either be a disappointing draw or an absolute blowout. Personally I think a 1-6 scoreline is on the cards, Liverpool will want to assert their authority at the top of the league.
2-0...
@DeGeST could be , it's not easy for Liverpool to win at utd
All pressure in the world is on Liverpool to at least win if not humiliate utd, so anything can happen
@nekt Liverpool are 5 points clear at the top, United are 2 points off relegation. The pressure is on United they need the points more.
Time to dream for the Liver, like never before. But first you have to play and then you will see. It's the worst United I've ever seen, so if they don't take advantage of it now, I don't know when they would.
mutd 3-1 liv
Manchester United's Strengths (Team has no significant strengths) ManchesterUnited's WeaknessesFinishing scoring chances Weak Salary Manchester United's VS Liverpool's ?? Conscience 1-1
@Iseethebest You spotted correctly.
Anything less than a 3-0 win for Liverpool will be like a loss for them
@What4 People don't seem to get the joke, man. :dd
@What4 As a Liverpool fan I can say that any result where we score more goals then the other team is like a win for us
@swagio It doesn't make sense to say a win is like a win. I don't think you understand what a comparison is.
@What4 I completely understand what you mean, I'm just saying it's stupid. 3 points for us is everything, we don't care if we win by 1 goal or 10.
@What4 What you say makes zero sense. What you're trying to do is plant expectations that are not relevant and only serves as selfproclaimed ammo to take a swipe at Liverpool. It has been known for a while that Liverpool is only concerned about THREE points. Regardless of how it is earned and regardless of how poor the opposition is. You have much to learn.
@Big_Boss ??? What are you gobbing on about. Liverpool are 1st in the table by 8 points, Man U are 12th and awful. I'm hardly the only person who thinks Liverpool will wipe the floor with Man United. Now Liverpool fans are pretending that they're actually worried about facing *this* Man U team. What a joke. You all know anything less than a thrashing will be considered underwhelming for Liverpool.
@What4 "You all know anything less than a thrashing will be considered underwhelming for Liverpool." This only lives in your fantasyworld, not in the real world where points and results are King. Yes, United is in the weakest state they've been in a long while and yes, Liverpool are considered one of if not the best team in Europe. Does this mean that Liverpool should be ashamed if they don't beat them 0-3? A resounding NO. You didn't understand the words I wrote, so you're talking trash here. A win is enough for Liverpool. A trashing is MERELY a bonus. Hopefully your mind will understand. Eventually.
@What4 Just look at the votes for this game: 80% away win, and most scorelines have Liverpool winning by at least 3. But yes, I'm the only person with expectations that are "not relevant". Do me a favour.
@What4 Indeed, your assumption that if Liverpool doesn't win by at least 0-3 can be considered a failing is not relevant to put it mildly. Liverpool doesn't play to appease people who vote, they play to win, to get the job done. Your black and white thinking is quite narrowminded and black and white. You will find that every club who are put in Liverpools position will be glad to take a win at Old Trafford and WILL NOT BE CONCERNED WITH WINNING 0-3. Again, you have much to learn.
David de Gea will miss the next two months with an injury picked up on international duty with Spain
Arsenal and Liverpool always struggle at Old Trafford irrespective of Man Utd form. But if Liverpool can play well this time, it will be a walk in the park for them regardless of how United will play. If Liverpool are going to win the league, then they shouldn't drop points here because City won't.
"Paul Pogba and David de Gea set to miss Manchester United v Liverpool" (The Guardian)
"Daniel James suffered a head injury for Wales during the international break and may need assessment". Pretty sure he'll be fine.
@SteveHyland And if the football doesn't work out he has a fine career in acting ahead of him.
@Grumpkin69- He has, miraculously, made the Utd lineup. His hair strand recovered just in time. Such a brave soul.
0-5
Routine win for LFC
@eastend1 hahahahah
1-3
Scousers to stick the knife in further, Mancs crying in the stands. Oh 'twill be glorious. Can't wait.
@What4 how’d that go pal?
@What4 Hahahaha CUNT
I see a total humiliation coming here. Is absolutely not necessary to see Ole go as he has steered the wheel perfectly so far! haha
@albgunn don’t bet on football then pal or you’ll be in the red in no time!
No one really expects Man Utd to win. But Solskjaer already at 2/1 in the Sack Race. If they get annihilated by their arch enemy at home, everyone expects a shake up and that would be bad for most careers involved (esp since many not established). They'll fight like hell. 1-2 good match
Love the preview: Liverpool strengths - defending set pieces, attacking set pieces, finishing scoring chances, attacking down the wings, creating chances using though balls, creating chances through individual skill, creating scoring chances, aerial duels. Man United strengths - team has no significant strengths....
@Nico1 what did you think of the result? Fantastic performance from Liverpool!!
@Nico1 And weak on "Finishing scoring chances". The most important one. But at least they were clever enough to loan Sanchez away. Worst rating at Inter now and injured again until next year.
When it gets to 0-3 there could be a total collapse.
@DonaldJTrump Are you in another universe then mate because that didn’t happen?
Could be a 0-0 or a 0-1 LFC. I don't see many goals in this one.
Liverpool should definitely win this one, that said, Man Utd actually tend to turn up and park the bus against Liverpool at Old Trafford, just look at last season
@craigofficial be careful when you use words like ‘definitely’, football is very unpredictable!
Can't wait to watch 11 Liverpudlian monsters show united how to play football in their own house
@swagio how’d that go pal?
0-5 honestly
@stefanm how’d that go mate??
@stefanm don't be cocky
