With that early goal in the 42nd second, I thought Spurs would go catch Liverpool cold and press them into panic mode, but no, Poch decides to play pussy mode and just park the bus, ordered his players to waste time(Rose especially), and played Pulisball punting the ball up 60 yards.
Lads, it's Tottenham< Well deserved meme.
@sgshaw I don't give sh about Tot. I just hate it when players go for a penalty and I hate it when referees indulge them. Mane should have been sent off. Liverpool will never ever win the League like this. They can't keep counting on the ref to save them.
@Yassine_1 Poch said it was a pen, Jenas said it was a pen, gary neville said it was a pen, Roy Keane said it was a pen. It was a ****ing pen you jealous little hater
@Nico1 And Mane said that he threw his body in front of Aurier. Aurier went to kick the ball and sneaky Mane quickly put his left foot in front of Aurier's moving foot. And then went diving like he was a dolphin. If this was a penalty, the rules need to be changed, for the sake of the game.
super Gazaniga and son,thats Tottenham. The others are just runners. Poch substitutions are late, specially Lucas Mora. Last ? .Why Gazaniga has been on the bench for long centuries?
Tottenham seems back to usual form. Wonder if playing defensively for the first 75 minutes was Pochettino's tactic or reaction to Liverpool's battering. Thinking the latter but was strange how Spurs suddenly found a way out of their box the second they conceded the second goal. 3 points against Spurs are worth something. And selling Trippier was a dumb idea.
@arcglenum Ok but Trippier is doing really well at Atletico now and Aurier has just been a catastrophe so far. His only good performances were in 2 games Spurs dominated (everybody looks good there) and 'Concentration', 'Discipline' and 'Holding on to the ball' are about the worst weaknesses you can have as a defender. Also some strange erratic behavior. Looking like a loose cannon doesn't help.
Tottenham gave a proper fight in the end but Liverpool's pressure was too much for them. Aurier must be one of the worst RBs I've seen, how an earth did Spurs let Trippier leave? Rose was bad too (again). Wonder what's happened to Davies, who was very impressive couple seasons backwards.
Who / what / where is VAR? Football should listen to the Inernational Rugby Board on how to implement Television Match Officials. Champions + Euopa League VAR > Premier League VAR. Why are the Premier League hiding?
Another controvertial later penalty for Reds! I think the defender had won the position and didn't see Mane behind him, so was a completely unintentional foul. Doesn't matter, a good evening for Gazzaniga anyway.
@dib There's nowhere in the football rules that states a foul has to be deliberate, in fact most fouls are accidental. Anyway deliberate or not he clearly kicks Mane from penalty so it's an obvious penalty.
@neumi17 Whoscored always rate the park the bus team higher than the team which is actually in control of the match. Spurs were quite poor today and in reality lucky Liverpool didn't score more goals.
The home side a huge favourites today not least because Tottenham have a dreadful record at Anfield. However, this March is a big opportunity for Tottenham to exorcise the ghosts of the UCL final (which might be half their problem at the moment). Tottenham can take heart from winning away points at City and Arsenal (even if City was a total mugging). Tottenham need to keep Liverpool's wingbacks quiet (obviously) and force Liverpool through the middle and cut out those individual errors. Big game for Ndombele and Dele. Winks is the wrong choice for today. Head says Liverpool 3-1 Tottenham. Heart says Liverpool 2-2 Tottenham.
Son Heung-min, who is strong in the crisis, challenges the possibility of 1%.
Hamburger 3-2 Dortmund, Undefeated champion of 36 Bundesliga games. 1% SON 2goal.
Koera 2-0 Germany 1% SON 1Goal.
Manchester City Champions League Dream 1% SON 3Goal.
Liverpool 2-3 Tottenham 1%

that penalty was horrific. Referees keep coming to the rescue/ Mane is just shameless.
@Yassine_1 Spoken like a loser.

@Yassine_1 you underestimate the power of the refs
super Gazaniga and son,thats Tottenham. The others are just runners. Poch substitutions are late, specially Lucas Mora. Last ? .Why Gazaniga has been on the bench for long centuries?
@sampo Most of his saves were shots/headers straight down the middle, even the penalty was more central then corner of the goal.

@benj Trippier had games like Aurier, let's not suddenly think the former is a world class fullback because Aurier made an unfortunate error.
@arcglenum Ok but Trippier is doing really well at Atletico now and Aurier has just been a catastrophe so far. Come on, FA, it's already ridiculous at this point.
@splint3r Yeah, 2 penalties for United against Norwich, a foul uncalled which led to goal in previous game, and 4 penalties in the first 5 games.
@arcglenum That's obviously not what I meant.
Deserving MOTM
Deserved win for Liverpool.
Who / what / where is VAR? Football should listen to the Inernational Rugby Board on how to implement Television Match Officials. Champions + Euopa League VAR > Premier League VAR. Why are the Premier League hiding?
how exactly is van dijk the best defender in the world again? I keep looking for those "world breaker performances" and dont see any
@k.1 give him a few more chances... until Christmas
Liverpool is a mess.
@Yassine_1 28 points from 20, champions of Europe. Yeah what a mess

@dib Nope, correct decision, Aurier made a mistake. Liverpool get lots of gifts from refs but not here.
@dib i think again give loserpool win controversial...bad football
Shot on target 11-1 Liverpool !
@neumi17 and yet the XG was actually not hugely different: 1.8 +pen vs 1.6 (according to Caley graphics)
1-2
How come Gazzaniga doesn't have 8.0+? Whoscored needs to fix the goalkeepers rating.
@Chivsrayadas1 ?
How can Spurs team be rated at 6.77 at half time and Liverpool 6.29. 1 lucky goal aside Liverpool have completely dominated.
@Nico1 That's why ! The defence of Tottenham gets a very high rating, especially the goalie, whereas the attackers of Liverpool are extremely dull ...
@neumi17 Whoscored always rate the park the bus team higher than the team which is actually in control of the match. Spurs were quite poor today and in reality lucky Liverpool didn't score more goals.
Gazzaniga > Lloris, no discussion.
OMG! Give to Gazzaniga the MOTM reward right now! 4 savings in a row! A natural replacement for LLoris.
mane relishes big games and i expect him to pick up at least one goal here
@idiot at least 5 goals for Mane today
@idiot At least three goals for Mane, I reckon.
@SeuneMilmas 4 goals guaranteed for the Senegalese GOAT
Nice to see Salah,Firmino and Mane will start.
1-0
Tough match for Liver but my brain says 5-2.
@GioMonaldo Well on this occasion my head and heart were both closer than your brain ;)
@GioMonaldo I would be shocked if Liverpool didn't win 5-1. It's shaping up to be a two horse race between Liverpool and Chelsea.
@SeuneMilmas Chelsea? time to put the pipe down, bruh
@GioMonaldo LOL, you cheeky get
Interestingly for a team (well) on top of the table Liverpool have yet to keep a clean sheet at home.
@MEHJones Alisson
@Ferguson Wasn't Allison supposed to be this great keeper, the savior of Liverpool. When did that change?
4-1

LFC ease to three points
Spurs are in bad shape but today they may get at least 1 point.

cracker!!! 3-2 or 4-3
I would be shocked if Liverpool don't score
I would be shocked if at least someone wouldn't be shocked in any WhoScored match and hadn't made their own stupid prediction
3-3
Seems like a good time to face Spurs 2-0
