Norwich
Liverpool
- Emiliano Buendia was only fit enough for the bench in Norwich's 0-0 draw at Newcastle last time out, but he should come back into the XI.
- Ben Godfrey is another set to return after he served out his suspension and he may come in for Grant Hanley in defence.
- Timm Klose is Daniel Farke's only injury concern here.
- Sadio Mane is hoping to be fit in time to feature against Norwich after missing the league wins over West Ham and Southampton with a hamstring issue.
- James Milner and Xherdan Shaqiri are aiming to be fit in time to at least make the squad for Saturday's trip to Carrow Road.
- Nathaniel Clyne, however, is ruled out.
They somehow always find a way to win ...
I think Liverpool is a ridiculous team: their front 3 is not in harmony, that's why they need to score in the last minute. The sign of a great team up front is that they can deliver goals at will. I don't care what the current winning series of Liverpool is, these types of last minute performances will not be sufficient in the Champions League! Let's remember that little Napoli managed to beat them in Naples - so much about the myth of invincibility of Liverpool! In CL they will face much stronger teams than Norwich!
@Zoltan Here is a lesson for you. Your front three do not have to be in perfect sync to get the job done. The fact that they're running away with the Premier League and are current World and CL champions clearly shows that it's their team effort and solid defense that brought them where they are now. Tunnelvisioning into one away loss in Napoli is a poor argument to make to prove that Liverpool is not ready to tackle the remaining elite teams in Europe. Why? They've done it before and are more experienced now. In addition, they have benchplayers who can score. Wijnaldum and Origi against Barcelona for instance. In football anything can happen, but you have to give credit where it's due and acknowledge that Liverpool is arguably the team to beat in Europe, thanks to their pedigree they've been building in just 2 years. And nobody is comparing Norwich to the CL elite teams. The players know it will be tougher in the Champions League, so you again have no point to make.
@Zoltan Lol they were playing in a storm, of course they weren’t going to play brilliantly today.
Keita did well considering he only had played 30 minutes of football this year.
In the top five European leagues, Liverpool now have the best record by any club after 26 matches of a league season: W25-D1-L0. The previous best at this stage was W24-D2-L0 by Pep Guardiola's Bayern in the 2013/14 Bundesliga.
Liverpool are known for scoring late goals. They have 15 minutes left to do it.

Norwich will find the net, but Liverpool will win here
Poor Norwich so desperate in need for points, and then Pool comes to visit. I feel bad for them and I'm pretty sure they'll be humiliated.
@Fromhell- I would be shocked if Norwich didn't win 2-1. One would usually expect the team with the least amount of possession to win.
@SteveHyland I would be shocked if you didn't shocked to death at the end of the day.
@SteveHyland Great wisdom that
