Team News
Arsenal
Everton
- Sokratis picked up a knock to his knee in Thursday's 1-0 win away to Olympiacos and is a doubt for Sunday.
- Skhodran Mustafi will likely partner David Luiz at the back to face former club Everton.
- Illness kept Lucas Torreira out of Thursday's game and Mikel Arteta will hope to have the midfielder available here.
- Nicolas Pepe and Mesut Ozil will likely return to the starting XI against Everton.
- Carlo Ancelotti has suggested Andre Gomes will return to the matchday squad in Sunday's match at Arsenal. Gomes has recovered remarkably quick just three months since suffering a horror ankle injury when it seemed like his season was over.
- A knee injury could keep Theo Walcott out of a return to the Emirates, but Everton welcome back Fabian Delph from suspension on Sunday.
- Another former Gunners, Alex Iwobi will hope to feature in what would be his first return to the Emirates since leaving the club in the summer.
- Mason Holgate will hope for a recall but Ancelotti may stick with Yerry Mina and Michael Keane after the 3-1 win over Crystal Palace last time out.
Everton created some decent chances, this could have gone either way.
What's the reason Sidibe didn't get a yellow for elbowing Kolasinac in the jaw?
bts looks like 99,99% now.
i think score will be 1-1, pepe and Richarlson to score, predictions anyone
Everton have lost only once in nine league matches since Carlo Ancelotti was appointed in December.
@nexus747 I'll be shocked if Everton didn't draw 1-1
2-1
Arsenal's three-match run of clean sheets will come to an end this afternoon.
@Whoscored Iwobi still in Arsenal? You must be joking!
@AllezChelsea They update those lists really slow, atleast with removing players. Karius was available as motm option for Pool, the whole season he had left.
In user prediction
2-1 seems fine, but draw possible.
Like the look of Arsenal under Arteta, Ancelotti's easy runs over. Arsenal Win @ 2.05
Everton will be lethal but it is the home advantage that could tip the balance for us here
We have a fantastic home league record against Everton during the Premier League era (21-5-1). The only time we lost was in the 1995/96 season (2-1) and we have won 5 games in a row. Ancelotti has improved them and they have some dangerous individuals, but we are starting to put performances together ourselves and I fully expect to have another day at the office, 2-0 Gunners.
Everton win
Richarlison hatrick~
