Team News
Bournemouth
Tottenham
- Jack Stacey, Charlie Daniels and Simon Francis all miss the welcome of Tottenham through injury, but Callum Wilson is available following a ban and should start up front.
- Chris Mepham, Andrew Surman and Steve Cook will all be assessed ahead of kick off, but Eddie Howe may need to name the same backline that started the 5-2 loss to Manchester United due to a lack of options.
- Philip Billing could come in to add steel to the midfield, while Harry Wilson and Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld are among those pushing for starts.
- Dele Alli missed the 1-0 win over Everton with a hamstring complaint and is a doubt for Thursday's trip to Bournemouth.
- Japhet Tanganga and Juan Foyth miss out, but the pair are Jose Mourinho's only confirmed absentees.
- Mourinho has ample options at his disposal and will be forced into at least one change from the Everton victory, with Eric Dier suspended for four matches following an incident against Norwich earlier this year.
Glad to see Alderweirald getting back into action.
Jose out!
and why does Mourinho want Vertonghen to leave?
This Spurs team is so bad, it hurts my eyes.
@Menzi At least, they had a defence. No idea why Mourinho wants to get rid of Vertonghen.
I hope Son isn't on the bench because Mourinho is doing his kindergarden stuff again
Bournemouth's defense has been poor since November. They haven't kept a clean sheet since beating Chelsea in December and have lost five in a row a home draw against Chelsea in February. Bournemouth's last two matches were crushing defeats to Manchester United (5-2) and Newcastle United (4-1). They will want to bounce back and might fancy their chances against Tottenham who have a pretty poor away record: W3 D6 L7 and only one clean sheet. It will be interesting to see who steps in for Dier and hopefully Bergwijn will gets some minutes. A score draw is certainly possible here... but I'll go Bournemouth 1-2 Tottenham.
home win 2:1
if Mourinho starts the same team then he will play for 1-0 win ;)
@koziol.mutant He can't because Dier is suspended for four matches.
@MEHJones so it can be interesting here
@koziol.mutant I hope so... but not necessarily.
