Team News
Man City
Newcastle
- Kevin De Bruyne was benched in the 1-0 defeat to Southampton on Sunday but will return to the starting XI here.
- Benjamin Mendy, Kyle Walker, Ilkay Gundogan and Phil Foden will also hope for recalls here.
- Sean Longstaff and Isaac Hayden are expected to miss between two and three weeks with a hamstring injury.
- Danny Rose should return at left-back against Manchester City, with Javier Manquillo shifting back over to right-back as a result.
- With neither Hayden nor Sean Longstaff available for the away side, Nabil Bentaleb or Matthew Longstaff will start in midfield here.
- Matt Ritchie will also push to return to the starting XI here, but Allan Saint-Maximin and Miguel Almiron may both miss out, which would be a huge blow for Steve Bruce's side.
I think that is the first time Silva got 10. Just before his farewell... Legend
Foden wasted atleast two goals, needs more practice
When Man City are at their best they are amazing. They have just become to inconsistent this season. Never replaced Kompanys leadership
Corner over
Pretty sure Saint-Maximin is injured.
