Team News

Man Utd
West Ham
  • Despite being given the all-clear, Eric Bailly is unlikely to feature in any capacity on Wednesday night after suffering a sickening head injury in Sunday's FA Cup semi-final defeat to Chelsea.
  • Luke Shaw remains a major doubt with a twisted ankle. Timothy Fosu-Mensah may get a second straight start in the Premier League after Brandon Williams' horror-show at Wembley.
  • The pressure is ramping up on David de Gea's place in the team after another costly display in goal for United and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to be seriously considering his place in the team for the final two league games.
  • Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood are all expected back in the starting XI against West Ham after being rested at the weekend. Nemanja Matic was poor against old club Chelsea and Scott McTominay could get the nod over him here.
  • 20-year-old Ben Johnson may be required again at right-back with Ryan Fredericks a major doubt for West Ham.
  • Felipe Anderson was back on the bench for West Ham after a stint out injured to boost David Moyes' attacking options. He has played well against Manchester United in the past.
  • However, Moyes is expected to go with the same team that has served him so well in their last two matches.
  • Tomas Soucek and Michail Antonio are in the form of their careers and will be West Ham's biggest threats at Old Trafford.

Prediction

  • Manchester United need a response after their crushing 3-1 defeat to Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-final on Sunday. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have two games to secure Champions League football for next season and they are in pole position to do so.
  • After back-to-back wins and seven goals scored in that time, West Ham are all but safe from relegation. It would require West Ham losing their last two games and a huge goal swing for them to drop into the bottom three now.
  • The fact West Ham can go into their last two matches with little pressure could work in United's favour here. The home side will certainly hope so, otherwise they could be in for a tricky night's work. United haven't lost at Old Trafford since January and it's imperative for them they maintain that run.

  • Sort Declan Rice's rating please, SofaScore gave him 7.5 and had him as MOTM, why is your rating so low?

  • Declan Rice MOTM

  • Solskjaer needs to be blamed for this match . You need to be stupid to play with Matic and Pogba in the center against the second most passive team in away games West Ham near Norwich . West Ham has made 9 fouls all game. Instead of that mummy called Pogba , Solskjaer should have been start with Fred so he could make the transition between the defence and attack .With suck a passive team like West Ham Solskjaer should have been used if not Fred even one of the deffensive wings instead of Pogba to bring some speed and quick movement in the center of the field to create spaces for the players in front .Solskjaer not even changed Pogba "The mummy " .

  • hahahahahahahahaha

  • Pogba was only trying to give the black power salute - to say it was handball was racist

  • I'll follow Neville to Papua New Guinea if United also bottle against Leicester, miserable second half.

  • Pogba is much better actor than a player.

  • @tar88s he ll dominate in spain next season

  • @stefanm in Getafe?

  • @Taha25 hahaaha

  • west ham win

  • Fernandes to score a penalty.Another portuguese penalty master :)

  • Man Utd will want to finish in 3rd place which is the best they can do in their last 2 games. They will also be hoping Chelsea drop points at Liverpool.

  • 4-0

  • 4-1

  • Manchester United & under(3,5)

  • Manutd 3:0 Westham

  • There's no way United can loose two games at home in a row. Right?

  • @Fromhell their last home game was a draw 2-2 with southampton

  • @Foxeyrod FA-Cup against Chelsea.

  • WHU have +13 goal difference better than Aston Villa, so they have big comfort now, however, I think Moyes will motivate them what should be enough to lose by one goal, also if De Gea starts this should be goal-fest, hopefully, 0-2 to 3-2 :)

  • @koziol.mutant De Gea's had half a dozen poor performances this season, but non consecutively, they've all been at least 2-6 weeks apart.

  • @koziol.mutant ''if De Gea starts'' Bro, this is not your fantasy football team, he'll start surely. He'll handle the pressure and have a great game just he did against Palace. Mathematically yes, but logically it's impossible for West Ham to go down from this point. I can't see them scoring more than 1 goal here while United will score at least 2.

  • Man united to win top four is more important than FA cup

  • MU 2-0
