We we very good in the transition phase, something really lacking under Emery, but our final ball/shot was poor and we were far too open when defending. Once we have our first choice defence, hopefully that will change. I was pleased with Özil. He was passing through the lines pretty well and looked as though he wanted to get on the ball at every opportunity. Lacazette looked rusty but we know how good he is. Nelson & AMN connected well on the right and Torreira put in a performance akin to when he started his Arsenal career. This was a game that we should have won by 3 goals but we only have ourselves to blame for failing to convert the chances.
@SteveHyland As well, Bournemouth didn't really deserve all those chances, they had dubious free-kicks, lucky bounces (King's run down the flank), and we were missing all our fullbacks. Overall a decent performance.
Not a good performance from the ref, giving non-existent fouls in Bournemouth's favour. Decent performance from Arsenal, a few moments from inexperienced players cost us in a few cases at both ends. Maitland-Niles is growing nicely as a fullback, and Nelson played quite well. Better work ethic too from everyone. Small positives.
New manager, ex Arsenal player, he was right hand of one of the best managers in the world, amazing team, so my opinion is Arsenal will win with at least 2 goals difference !
@pyt55- My phone stuttered so I pressed report instead of reply by accident. Anyways, I like the front three and potential under Arteta but we're without our four best defenders or our backup LB against a team who have caused us problems at their home ground. I'm not optimistic.

Isn't a scissor kick from behind a red?
Arteta 'the coach' hahahhahah
Interesting. This is exactly the type of game where Ozil should be making a difference. Glad to see Lacazette and Aubameyang playing together again.
@What4- Auba without Laca is like Burton without Taylor.
1-2 sounds good
Ozil with assist
@alxdru He does that only twice a year these days ...
2-2

arsenal 2-1
juicy front 3 from Arsenal...they will win by at least 2 goals, it's the hype of having a younger (and hopefully bolder) manager.
