Team News
Arsenal
Man City
- Hector Bellerin and Kieran Tierney are both sidelined for Arsenal, with the latter out for three months.
- Granit Xhaka will return next week due to the concussion protocol. Matteo Guendouzi should start as a result.
- Freddie Ljungberg will hope to have Nicolas Pepe available after the winger took some heavy hits on Monday.
- Alexandre Lacazette may have to settle for another place on the bench, with Gabriel Martinelli set to start again.
- Oleksandr Zinchenko made his return from injury in Tuesday's 4-1 win away to Dinamo Zagreb to boost Pep Guardiola's defensive options going into the busy festive period.
- David Silva missed out in midweek with a knock and remains a doubt. His absence could pave the way for Phil Foden to start against Arsenal after an impressive display in the Champions League. Ilkay Gundogan is perhaps favourite, however.
- Illness ruled Ederson out in midweek and Guardiola will hope to have his first-choice goalkeeper available at the Emirates.
- Benjamin Mendy, Zinchenko and Angelino are now in competition to start at left-back, while Nicolas Otamendi is expected to start at centre-back with John Stones out.
Asernal NO.10 is sucks ,both his performance on the count and what he said is very very fool and ***
how pathetic is this Arsenal this is worrying, they cant even score 1 goal
Ljundberg out, Cherchesov in.
Özil ... : - [
@neumi17 He's gonna probably make a new statement condemning something else to mask his terrible performances of late. lol
arsenal are the labour party of english football. entitled middle class supporters with a strong "diverse" following too. just like the labour party they are also dying and do not represent their former selves - this team is unrecognisable from its highbury days
@idiot do us a favour “idiot” and keep your bigoted political beliefs to yourself.
@z4k1r Bigot: "a person who is intolerant towards those holding different opinions" - do you see the irony in your comment, sir?
Arsenal is just awful. Truly, truly awful.
De Bruyne is the Rodney Dangerfield of soccer. Doesn't get the praise of Messi because he doesn't put up huge goal numbers but he truly does everything it takes to win. A complete player and true field general. Needs to be in Ballon d'or discussion.
@nizzle arsenal is a wnk tbh
They need Carlo
@NuchalLine to lose more
What a terrible season for us
City win to nil
How doesn't De Bruyne have a perfect ten at half-time already?
De bruyne is amazing..what a player.
I hope the club are paying for Leno's psychological therapy, because this is abusive working conditions.
Honestly, De Bruyne would deserve a 10 rating before half-time. It's basically Arsenal vs. him.
Arsnal Fan Tv gonna be awsome
Carnage incoming...
mahrez goooal

1-4
@nexus747 I'll be shocked if Arsenal didn't win 2-0.
red card for City and Arsenal to score 3
@Whoscored Arsenal came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Standard Liege in midweek to qualify for the knockout round of the Champions League. This should read Europa League. Arsenal would wish they were in the CL.
1-2 or 0-2.
Hoping for an Arsenal win or draw here. I can see Auba scoring some goals, hopefully their leaky defense won't let in one too many.
City to score in both halves
smells like a draw
I doubt both these teams abilities, after City's horrible loss at home against United. Smells like a draw or narrow City win, depending on Jesus dayform. City is going to miss D.Silva a lot, no matter if Foden or Gündogan plays. And maybe it's about time Mahrez played from start?
4-2 City, but I'm not predicting above because I hope I'm wrong.
@SteveHyland Let's not kid ourselves, City will thrash us, it doesn't matter if they're supposedly in bad form.
Norwich were enough to break down Arsenal's defense. No doubt City will humiliate it. 1-3 away win.
@NHJ- If Whoscored are correct in their predicted lineups, we'll score more than one and I would be over the moon if we only concede three times. Chambers looks like Nesta compared to the plonkers on display. I honestly feel sorry for the GKs.
BTTS & over 2.5
2-1
0-5
@stefanm Stefano, I want to see AFTV's asses on fire too, but I do not think Citeh can win by that big of a margin if Ferny is a center-back again.
@MUATSCINMA only 0-3 :D
