Amazing how Guimarães should be leading the group and is actually at the bottom lol. And I'm not talking because of this match, I was thinking about commenting this before the match. It should have won 0-5 against St. Liege and lost 2-0, should have won 4-1 against Frankfurt and lost 0-1, today it should have won like 1-3 and lost 3-2, rofl.
@hellreaper Moronic comment. You don't unluckily drop 9 points in 3 games. Yes Vitoria deserved a result because of how they dominated the match for the first 60minutes. But Arsenal took their chances. Vitoria committed those fouls and they have to deal with it.
"Vitoria de Guimaraes will be missing at least nine players through injury on Thursday [including both usual right backs]" ! A slaughter could be on the cards.
I would expect the XI to look a little something like: Martinez, Bellerín, Mustafi, Holding, Tierney, Torreira, Maitland-Niles, Ceballos, Willock, Martinelli, Lacazette. I've formatted it as a 4-1-4-1. That defence is better than our "first team" one and you'd hope 3 of them will be in the league XI before too long. Laca may be limited time-wise, I'd expect 75 minutes maximum. Being at home, I'd expect to heavily dominate and even with the turgid football we play, create multiple chances. 5-0 AFC.
Nicolas Pépé saves Unai Emery...LOL
Pépé saved the day! :D
One player saving our bacon through individual brilliance after a shambolic defensive display...how uncharacteristic from Arsenal, I'm truly shocked.

"Vitoria is easy. We'll just put the kids and they will handle it. What could possibly go wrong?"
Holy crap.... Arsenal what are you doing?
Great goal by Marcus Edwards!
