Spain
Sweden
- Sergio Busquets misses out after recently testing positive for COVID-19, which should see Rodri deputise.
- Diego Llorente has since returned two negative tests after testing positive, so should be available for Luis Enrique in some capacity.
- Gerard Moreno is expected to get the nod ahead of Alvaro Morata to lead the charge.
- Dejan Kulusevski and Mattias Svanberg re-joined the squad on Monday after overcoming COVID-19 but it is perhaps unrealistic for them to be involved here.
- Zlatan Ibrahimovic was not called up to the Sweden squad owing to injury, which means Alexander Isak and Marcus Berg are set to start in a 4-4-2.
GG Sweden! :D
what, 85% possession? I watched the game from time to time, but it didn`t look like that.
That was pathetic. Spain don't even deserve to reach the Round of 16 with these tactics.
Moreno didn't show much
Now imagine what would have happened with Adama Traore on the wing, Gerard Moreno through the middle and Mikel Oyarzabal through the other wing throughout the 90 minutes. No doubt: team selection is an art.....
Ok I get it now. Lucho is trolling us by playing Morata, there is no other reason to start him over Moreno.
Moreno was more dangerous in 20 minutes than Morata in 66.
Still no Moreno ! Enrique is clueless.
@Rensen missing a sitter
isak masterclass
Ladies and Gentlemen! Please place your bets: the changes have been made in the teams!
I did not know that this European Championship is Old Boys level. The pace at which they play is Old Boys level: slow physically, slow mentally..... Ridiculous!
Sweden will win this on a set piece towards the end. The multiplier right now is 15.00....
Judging so far there ois no way on earth that Spain will win this.
Commentators talk about players being vaccinated before this game. I need to add that they have been vaccinated against scoring goals! LOL
If Sweden is smart, they could actually win this game on a counterattack. Olsen saves in an inspired fashion so far.....
FFS get Moreno on the pitch !
Spain 80% possession yet useless in front of goal.
@Rensen Business as usual
@neumi17 they'll probably get a dodgy pen.
Stupid Swedes finally start to realise by the end of the half that they should be able to beat their stupid Spanish counterpart! LOL The game is about who is going to wake up earlier!
@Zoltan Reading your in-depth analyses is always such a pleasure. I can almost hear the cap of your beer popping while you slump on the couch.
Enrique is a clown. Sack him
Nice! Unai Simon's first touch as a goalkeeper came in the 36th minute! LOL Talking about cheating the game!
Under 1.5 goals clearly looks great for this stupid game! :))))
I just want to know what's going on in the Swedish heads when they have 0 shots on goal after the first 30 minutes: sg like this - "we are so inferior to this Spanish team that we must park the bus to get sg out of this game". And this is clearly stupid given that the Spaniards do nothing as well (I don't give a damn about ball possession)....
Both to score odds is not bad and this Sweden team will score goal. :)
Morata will score but obviously Moreno starts as sub.
Too many defenders again on that Spanish team: a 3 man defense would be enough to make space for the offensive talent sitting on the bench. One of Adama Traore, Gerard Moreno, or Mikel Oyarzabal should play instead. The other two of this triplet should play instead of the Ferran Torres, Danny Olmo duo: they are much more explosive and/or have more goals in them. Looks like it will be a low scoring game again....
@Zoltan Pity Spain didn't select a random guy from the internet to lead their squad.
@Gronounours ...and therefore you have seen the outcome. Did you like it???
Over 1.5 Goals
@KingKeno Scratched it once i saw the starting 11, leaning Under 3.5
Spain win and over 2.5 match goals @ 2.10 odds
Looking forward to seeing Spains 'Tiki-taka' style of football.
Over 2.5 first half
@buthethi It will certainly not happen in first half. Maybe on second half, but I thank this match all goals is under 3.5.
Moreno to score.
Spain 3-1
Over 1.5 goals.
Important note: Spain will play all group stage matches at home in Seville.
